PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program receives overwhelming response… Over 3 crore registrations so far

According to the Ministry of Education, an online competition is being held on the MyGov portal from December 1st to January 11th for the selection of participants. Students from classes 6 to 12, teachers, and parents can participate in this competition.

Excitement is at its peak for the ninth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interaction program, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’. According to Ministry of Education officials, more than 3 crore students, teachers, and parents have registered so far this year.


According to the Ministry of Education, an online competition is being held on the MyGov portal from December 1st to January 11th for the selection of participants, which includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Students from classes 6 to 12, teachers, and parents can participate in this competition.

According to news agency PTI, a senior ministry official said, “More than three crore registrations have been received so far for the Prime Minister’s Pariksha Pe Charcha. The program will be held later this month.”

The eighth edition was broadcast on February 10th last year, held in a new and innovative format at Sundar Nursery in Delhi. 36 students from various states and union territories of the country participated in this program. These included students from government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and CBSE schools.

The eighth edition also featured seven different episodes in which renowned personalities gave motivational messages to students on topics such as sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, finance, creativity, and positivity.

World Record set in 2025

According to the Ministry of Education, Pariksha Pe Charcha also set a Guinness World Record in 2025. During that time, students from more than 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, and parents from 149 countries participated in the program. This program, which started in 2018 with just 22,000 participants in its first edition, has grown to reach 3.56 crore registrations by its eighth edition in 2025.

In addition, 1.55 crore people from across the country participated in the public awareness activities associated with Exam Warriors 2025, bringing the total participation to approximately 5 crore.
