His address is taking place at a time when both the countries have agreed to stop all military attacks on land, air and sea. This ceasefire has come after India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. India launched Operation Sindoor on the morning of May 7 to destroy 9 terrorist hideouts belonging to Lashkar, Jaish and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir. At least 100 terrorists were killed during this operation.
