Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the people through his radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The 122nd episode of the program was aired today. PM Modi spoke on many issues. During this, he talked about Operation Sindoor, the valor of the Indian Army. He said that every citizen of the country has resolved that terrorism has to be eradicated. He also said that Operation Sindoor is not just a military operation, it is a picture of changing India.
‘The valor shown by the forces has made every Indian proud’
The Prime Minister said, ‘My dear countrymen, Namaskar! Today the whole country is united against terrorism. It is filled with anger. It is determined. Today every Indian has this resolution, we have to end terrorism. The valor shown by our forces during ‘Operation Sindoor’ has made every Indian proud. The clarity, the accuracy with which our forces destroyed the terrorist bases across the border is amazing. ‘Operation Sindoor’ has given new confidence and enthusiasm to the fight against terrorism across the world.
‘The sweat of our engineers, our technicians, everyone is involved in this victory’
PM Modi said that our soldiers destroyed the terror bases, it was their indomitable courage and it also included the power of weapons, equipment and technology made in India. It also had the resolve of ‘self-reliant India’. The sweat of our engineers, our technicians, everyone is involved in this victory.

He said, ‘Operation Sindoor is not just a military mission, it is a picture of our resolve, courage and changing India and this picture has filled the whole country with patriotism, has painted it in the tricolor. You must have seen, in many cities, villages, small towns of the country, Tiranga Yatras were taken out. Thousands of people came out with the tricolor in their hands to salute the country’s army. In many cities, a large number of youth came together to become civil defence volunteers and we saw that the videos from Chandigarh went viral.
‘Many families have made Operation Sindoor a part of their lives’
PM Modi said that poems were being written on social media, Sankalp songs were being sung. Small children were making paintings, which had big messages hidden in them. I had gone to Bikaner just three days ago. There, the children had gifted me one such painting. ‘Operation Sindoor’ has influenced the people of the country so much that many families have made it a part of their lives. In Katihar in Bihar, Kushinagar in UP, and many other cities, children born during that time have been named ‘Sindoor’.

After this, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10, to which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply. In this retaliation, many military bases of Pakistan were damaged, including air bases, radar sites, and command centers.
