People now want to walk together on the path of development, not with guns: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

22 Naxalites with a reward of ₹37.50 lakh surrendered

Raipur: A total of 22 Naxalites with a reward of ₹37 lakh 50 thousand have surrendered in Narayanpur district. Rewards ranging from ₹50 thousand to ₹8 lakh were announced on these surrendered Naxalites.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai posted on social media ‘X’ on July 11, 2025 saying that “People now want to walk together on the path of development, not with guns.”

A total of 1476 Maoists have surrendered in our government as of now .

Chief Minister Sai said that this is a proof of the positivity of our government’s new surrender and rehabilitation policy 2025 and public welfare schemes.

Schemes like ‘Niyad Nellanar’ have instilled confidence, people are leaving violence and returning to the mainstream of development. We are fully committed to the revival of these surrendered Naxalites. The double engine government is committed to eradicate Naxalism by 31 March 2026.
