On the strength of deadly bowling by Arshdeep Singh and Azmatullah Umarzai, Punjab Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 37 runs to register their seventh win of the season. In the 54th match of IPL played in Dharamsala on Sunday, Punjab, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 236 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Prabhsimran Singh’s 91 and captain Shreyas Iyer’s 45 runs. This is their fourth highest score in IPL. At the same time, in Dharamsala, the team has touched the 200 mark for the first time since 2011. Earlier, Punjab had scored 232 runs for the loss of two wickets against RCB. In response, Lucknow’s team could score only 199 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated overs.
