Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday October 11 ,2025 attended the Sri Sri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav organised by the Kolta community in Jhagarpur village of Lalungha development block in Raigarh district. The event was held at the Swami Atmanand Government Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Jhagarpur campus, where community officials warmly welcomed Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai by presenting him with a traditional garland and applying tilak.

On the occasion of the consecration of the Shri Shri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple, Chief Minister Sai offered prayers at the feet of Mata Ramchandi and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. He expressed his spiritual peace by visiting this sacred land of Jharsuguda.

This temple is not only a symbol of devotion but also a powerful symbol of the cultural consciousness and unity of society. The Chief Minister stated that the soul of India resides in its culture and traditions. God resides where women are respected. He described parents as the true gods and goddesses, stating that if parents are happy, all gods and goddesses are pleased. The Chief Minister urged everyone to maintain respect and service towards their elders, CM added.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is working with a commitment to good governance, transparency, and development. To this end, e-governance has been initiated and continuous action is being taken against corruption. He stated that within 18 to 19 months of the government’s formation, most of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promises have been fulfilled. Farmers were paid two years’ outstanding bonuses, the paddy procurement limit was increased from 15 quintals to 21 quintals per acre, and the support price was set at ₹3,100 per quintal.

He added that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, women are being provided assistance of ₹1,000 per month. 1.8 million houses have been approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Schemes such as the Landless Laborer Assistance Scheme, Tendu Leaf Purchase at ₹5,500 per standard sack, the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, and the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana are being implemented in the public interest.

Chief Minister Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is a resource-rich state, and with public support and proper resource utilisation, we are writing new chapters of development. “Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya” is not just a slogan, but our work culture, Said said .

Chief Minister Sai stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched two major schemes – the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance in Pulses – with an outlay of ₹35,440 crore. These schemes are historic steps towards increasing the income of the country’s farmers and making the agricultural sector self-reliant.

The Chief Minister also said that continuous efforts are underway in the state to strengthen irrigation facilities, increase agricultural production, and promote rural prosperity. He stated that reforms to the land registry system have brought new transparency and accountability to the governance system. He stated that our aim is not merely to formulate schemes, but to ensure their benefits reach the last person. Public trust is our greatest asset.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced ₹25 lakh for the construction of a community hall in Jhagarpur, ₹25 lakh for a community hall for the Kolta community at the development block headquarters, Lalunga, ₹50 crore for the construction of the Kunjara-Tolge-Milupara road, ₹2.5 crore for the construction of a stop dam-cum-causeway in the river between Ward No. 5 Patelpara, ₹10 crore for the construction of a Kharun River culvert from Lalunga-Kunjara to Gamekela, and the construction of a new building for the Government Girls High School in Ward No. 11.

The Chief Minister said that the government is dedicated to the welfare of every segment of society. The blessings and support of the Kolta community have always been a source of inspiration.

Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary said that the state is fortunate to have a public servant at the helm who is constantly working for the welfare of every segment. He added that the Chief Minister, just 12 days after assuming office, had paid ₹3,716 crore in bonuses to 1.3 million farmers. The paddy procurement limit was set at 21 quintals per acre and the price at ₹3,100 per quintal. More than 1.8 million poor families in the state are receiving benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The Finance Minister stated that Chhattisgarh is the land of Mother Kaushalya, and Lord Shri Ram is the nephew of this land. This is our cultural identity and prideCM Stated .

The Chief Minister Sai is focused on the all-round development of every region of the state. The Chief Minister is fully aware of the needs of Lalungha and the surrounding areas, and all development work related to the region will be completed in a phased manner.

The welcome address of the program was given by District Panchayat member Brijesh Gupta, who highlighted the historical traditions of Kolta community and the unity of 120 sub-castes. At the end of the program, Rathulal Gupta expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and all the guests.

Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathiya, former MLA Satyanand Rathiya, Suniti Rathiya, District Panchayat Vice President Deepak Sidar, Jyoti Bhagat, social worker Amar Agarwal, Manoj Agarwal, Gurupal Bhalla, Shrikant Somawar, Arun Katore, Jatin Saav, Vinay Saav along with many public representatives, social workers and devotees were present in the program.
