India has caused heavy damage to Pakistan’s military bases and terrorist bases through Operation Sindoor. The Indian Army has already given evidence of this. On Tuesday, Maxar Technologies released pictures of the action taken by the Indian Army in Pakistan. Recent satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies have shown that many airbases of Pakistan have suffered a lot of damage. The pictures show damage to four Pakistani airbases. These include Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha, Bholari Air Base and PAF Base Shahbaz in Jacobabad.

It is mostly used for VIP movement and logistics operations. This airbase is located in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, just 13 kilometers from Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. This airbase is the hangar for the planes of Pakistan’s Army Chief, President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice. The aerial distance of this airbase from Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir is about 100 kilometers.

PAF Base Mushaf
The second picture shows extensive damage, which shows the accuracy of the Indian Air Force. PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha has suffered extensive damage. The pictures taken on April 30, 2025 and May 10, 2025 show that targeting this airbase located in Sargodha city of central Punjab was a masterstroke by India. This is Pakistan’s most important air base. It houses the Combat Commanders School, nuclear delivery platforms and elite squadrons. Located about 200 km from the international border, this airbase was considered extremely secure. The arrival of Indian missiles here was a morale-breaker for Pakistan.

Bholari Air Base
Satellite images of Bholari Air Base taken on April 27, 2025 and May 11, 2025 also show damage to the runway and some airbase facilities. The attacks damaged a portion of the runway and a structure. Bholari Air Base is one of the newly built airbases in Pakistan. This airbase is used by the Pakistan Air Force as well as their Navy. This airbase reflected Pakistan’s future strategic ambitions. The loss of this airbase also affected Pakistan’s maritime security.

Sukkur Airbase
It is an active operational airbase in Jamshoro district of Sindh province, situated between Karachi and Hyderabad, under the Southern Air Command. It was recently commissioned and now houses 19 Squadron and an Operational Conversion Unit. F-16A/B Block 15 ADF fighter aircraft are operated from here. It is about 225 kms from Jaisalmer by air.
