Nyaydhani’s strength lies in a balanced side capable of sharing responsibility. While Chirag has been a penalty-corner specialist for the team, Ketan, Adarsh and Sonu Nishad have also contributed to its forward play.
When Chirag was unable to convert six penalty-corner opportunities, the Knights found goals through open play.
In the second quarter, Ketan made an impressive run down the right, evading four defenders before entering the circle. At the last moment, he passed to Adarsh, who put the ball into the goal.
The Knights struck again soon afterwards. This time Ketan entered the circle from the left, and Sonu Nishad redirected the ball into the net. Nyaydhani led 2–1 at half-time.
Walmiki completes second hat-trick
Chakradhar Champions relied on the experience and attacking ability of S.V. Sunil and Walmiki, and their combination played an important part in keeping the team in the contest.
Walmiki scored twice from penalty strokes. His third was a field goal after Sunil found him with a pass from just outside the circle. Walmiki then used a reverse flick to send the ball into the goal and complete his second hat-trick of the competition.
He appeared close to adding another, but Khogeshwar was credited with Chakradhar’s fourth goal after providing the final deflection.
Ketan finds the net
The third quarter continued to showcase Nyaydhani’s attacking options. After Chirag missed another opportunity, Ketan was positioned in front of goal and scored, taking the Knights’ tally to four, according to the match report supplied.
Neither side managed to find a decisive goal afterwards, and the teams finished level at 4–4.
