Raipur: Newly elected Rajya Sabha Member Lakshmi Verma paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday March 9, 2026 at the Chief Minister’s office chamber in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.

Chief Minister Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Lakshmi Verma on being elected to the Rajya Sabha. He said that she would play an important role in strongly presenting the sentiments of the people of Chhattisgarh, development-related issues, and the expectations of the common people in the Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of Parliament.

On the occasion, MLA Kiran Singh Deo, MLA Anuj Sharma, Chairman of the State Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava, along with other public representatives and dignitaries, were present.
