Newly elected MLA Sunil Soni to take oath today

Raipur-: Oath Ceremony Of Sunil Soni: BJP’s newly elected MLA Sunil Soni, who registered a strong victory in the counting of votes on November 23 , 2024 in Raipur City South, will take oath in the assembly today. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will administer the oath to him as a new member after 12 noon. During this, all the members of the cabinet including Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai will be present. Sunil Soni defeated Congress candidate Akash Sharma by more than 46000 votes in the counting of votes held on November 23, 2024 .

BJP’s newly elected MLA Sunil Soni, who defeated Congress rival Akash Sharma by 46167 votes, is going to take oath as a member of the Legislative Assembly today. Sunil Soni, who registered a strong victory in the by-election, got a total of 89220 votes in the by-election, while rival Akash Sharma got only 43053 votes.

Soni was successful in keeping the Raipur City South seat in BJP’s account for the 8th time

It is notable that Raipur South seat has been with BJP for the last seven times. Brijmohan Agarwal, the sitting MP from here, has been winning the elections continuously. This time too, BJP candidate Sunil Soni won the election and succeeded in keeping the Raipur South seat in BJP’s account for the 8th time in a row. BJP candidate Sunil Soni maintained a lead over his opponent Akash Sharma from the beginning of the counting of votes and maintained the lead till the end and registered a big win. .

The Raipur South seat has been with the BJP for the last seven times. Brijmohan Agarwal, the sitting MP from here, has been winning the elections continuously. This time too, BJP candidate Sunil Soni won the election and succeeded in keeping this seat in BJP’s account for the 8th time in a row.

Sunil Soni managed to maintain a consistent lead over his rival Akash Sharma . BJP candidate Sunil Soni, who registered a big win on Raipur City South seat, was ahead from the beginning of vote counting and this trend continued till the last round of counting. In the first round, Sunil Soni got 3583 votes and Akash Sharma got 2798 votes. The lead that Sunil Soni had after the first round continued till last . When the counting of the last round ended, Sunil Soni was ahead of the Congress candidate by 46,167 votes.
