Modi cabinet approves ELI scheme… More than 3.5 crore people will get jobs in 2 years

The government has approved the ELI scheme, which aims to create employment opportunities and provide jobs to more than 3.5 crore people in 2 years. Those getting a job for the first time will be given a subsidy of Rs 15,000, equivalent to one month’s salary, in two installments.
The Union Cabinet has approved the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme. Under this scheme, there is a plan to generate employment in all sectors, increase employment capacity and increase social security. The government plans to provide employment to more than 3.5 crore people in 2 years under this scheme.
First time workers will be given a subsidy of up to Rs 15,000, equivalent to one month’s salary, in two installments. The aim of this scheme is to provide incentives to first time workers, focusing on the manufacturing sector. Also, the aim is to reduce unemployment in the country.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared detailed information about this scheme. He said that this scheme has been designed to support employment generation of more than 3.5 crore jobs in two years with an expenditure of Rs 1 lakh crore. This scheme has been prepared after discussing with everyone. This scheme was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during the budget.
Subsidy will be given in two installments
The Union Minister said that its focus will be on the manufacturing sector. Its two parts have been created for first timer and sustained employment. First timers face a lot of problems in finding a job. Therefore, subsidy has been approved for first timers, in which a maximum of Rs 15,000 will be given. This will be given in two installments.
