Chief Minister Sai said that today is a matter of special pride for Chhattisgarh, because the innovation done by the women power in the field of cleanliness in the Municipal Panchayat Bilha of Bilaspur district was mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself in his program.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the women of Bilha were given training in waste management and together they changed the face of the city. This mention is a matter of pride and inspiration for all of us Chhattisgarh residents. Chief Minister Sai added .

The women of Bilha have shown that when determination and cooperation come together, no change is impossible. This example of cleanliness has made Chhattisgarh proud in the entire country. The women of Bilha have made it the cleanest city of the country with their determination.

Chief Minister Sai said that the innovation done by the women power of Chhattisgarh in the field of cleanliness was especially highlighted by the country’s illustrious Prime Minister in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today. This shows that cleanliness is not just a government program, but a strong people’s movement created by social awareness and active participation of women.

The Chief Minister informed that 7 cities of Chhattisgarh have been honored at the national level by the Hon’ble President under the Swachh Bharat Mission, which includes Nagar Panchayat Bilha and other urban bodies. Congratulating the public representatives of urban bodies, corporation commissioners, CMOs, Swachhta Didi and sanitation workers, he said that it is the result of the dedication and hard work of all that Chhattisgarh is being honored on national platforms.

Chief Minister Sai also informed that during his recent visit to Jashpur district, he came to know that all the five urban bodies of the district have made an unprecedented leap in the cleanliness ranking.
