PM Modi Mann ki Baat : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday November 30, 2025 in his monthly radio program, Mann ki Baat. In the program, Prime Minister Modi shared his views on issues such as the country’s record food grain production, India’s achievements in sports, and India’s high-flying space program.

The culture of endurance sports is rapidly emerging in the country.
“These days, the culture of endurance sports is rapidly emerging in our country. This refers to activities that test human ability. I’m told that more than 1,500 endurance sports events are held across the country every month, with athletes traveling far and wide to participate.

An example is the Ironman, which involves swimming four kilometers in the ocean, cycling 180 kilometers, and running an 82-kilometer marathon in a single day.

There are many other such competitions that are becoming increasingly popular among young people. These promote fitness. Friends, meeting you every month is a new experience for me.

Your stories and your efforts inspire me. Your suggestions inspire me to incorporate India’s diversity into this program. Please take care of yourself and your families during the winter season. We’ll discuss new topics next month. Thank you very much until then.”

The PM said in his “Mann Ki Baat” program, “India has also made its mark in the world of sports. Just a few days ago, it was announced that India would be awarded the Commonwealth Games. These achievements belong to the country, to its citizens. And “Mann Ki Baat” is an excellent platform to bring these achievements and collective efforts to the public.”

This month was filled with sporting achievements.
“This month was a superhit for India, especially in terms of sports. First, the women’s team won the World Cup. Just a few days ago, we won 20 medals at the Deaf Olympics. Our women’s team won the Kabaddi World Cup. Our players also won 20 medals in the World Boxing Championships. Our blind women’s team won the World Cup without losing a single match. The courage and spirit of this team teaches us a lot. This victory will continue to inspire every Indian.”

Appealed to strengthen the spirit of Vocal for Local
“Dear countrymen, I appeal to all of you to carry forward the mantra of Vocal for Local. During the recent G20 summit, I presented gifts to global leaders that promote the mantra of Vocal for Local. I presented a silver statue of Lord Buddha to the Prime Minister of Japan.

I presented an art piece from Karimnagar to the Prime Minister of Italy. I want the world to recognise the talent of our artisans. I am happy that the spirit of Vocal for Local has been embraced by the countrymen. During the recent festive season, people wholeheartedly chose Indian products.

This time, the youth also accelerated the Vocal for Local campaign. Please keep the spirit of Vocal for Local in mind during the upcoming Christmas season.”

Mention of Bhutan visit
“Friends, I visited Bhutan a few weeks ago. During my visit, I met with the King and former King of Bhutan, and others. I heard one thing from everyone. Everyone was praising the sending of the sacred relics of Lord Buddha there.

Hearing this filled my heart with joy. Many other countries, where relics of Lord Buddha were sent, also expressed similar joy.”

Discussing the potential of winter tourism in the country, he said, “Many countries have established their identity with experiences like winter festivals, skiing, and family snow parks. Our country also holds immense potential for winter tourism.

These days, Uttarakhand’s winter tourism is attracting visitors. Many destinations are becoming increasingly popular. Recently, the state’s first high-altitude marathon run was held in Adi Kailash. The 60-kilometer-long Adi Kailash Run began at 5 a.m. in the bitter cold. While only two thousand tourists visited Adi Kailash three years ago, today this number has increased to 30,000.”

PM Modi said this on Navy Day:
“The Kashi Tamil Sangamam is starting on December 2nd. It has become an important platform for all those who love the Tamil language. This time too, the people of Kashi are eagerly waiting to welcome their brothers and sisters from Tamil Nadu with great enthusiasm. Let us also think about other such platforms that strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

“My dear countrymen, when India’s security system is strengthened, everyone is happy. Recently, INS Mahe was launched. It is named after the place Mahe, which has a rich heritage. The people of Kerala and Tamil Nadu have praised it. Our Navy is rapidly moving towards self-reliance. We will celebrate Navy Day on December 4th. This day is an opportunity to honor our brave naval personnel.”

Mentioned the greatness of Jamsaab of Jamnagar
“The Mahabharata war took place in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Now, the experience of this war can be experienced digitally in Kurukshetra. I was also filled with joy attending the Gita Mahotsav held at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra. Many countries from around the world, including Europe and Central Asia, participated in this festival. This year, the Gita was presented for the first time in Saudi Arabia.”

“Peace and compassion have been paramount in India’s great culture. During World War II, when there was an atmosphere of fear all around, Raja Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja Jamsaab of Jamnagar protected Jewish children in the midst of the war. He sheltered and protected thousands of Jewish children in Gujarat, a tradition that remains an example even today. Last year, I had the opportunity to pay my respects to Jamsaab’s statue in Warsaw, Poland, which was an unforgettable moment for me.”

The Sweetness of Honey Creating Employment
“When Chandrayaan-2 went out of contact, the entire country and scientists were momentarily disappointed, but that very day, scientists began writing the success story of Chandrayaan-3. Every time I see the passion of the youth and the dedication of the scientists, my heart fills with enthusiasm; this is the strength of our country.”

“We are all familiar with the sweetness of honey, but we don’t realize the hard work that goes into it. Honey in Sulai, Jammu and Kashmir, has received a GI tag, which is gaining recognition across the country. The flora of Dakshina Kannada district is considered good for honey production. Here, a village-based organization has branded honey and sold it to cities, benefiting farmers.

Today, India is setting new records in honey production. Today, honey production in India has exceeded 150,000 metric tons. This has created employment opportunities for thousands of people. This is increasing the sweetness of honey in all corners of the country and increasing farmers’ incomes.”

Space ecosystem taking flight
“Recently, Skyroot’s Infinity Campus has given India’s space ecosystem a new lease of life. The country has also achieved significant success in the agricultural sector. A record-breaking 35.7 million tons of food grain production has been achieved. Just a few days ago, India hosted the Commonwealth Games.

These achievements belong to the country and its citizens. Our athletes have also brought glory to the nation in sports. Friends, with dedication, the belief in teamwork, and the courage to rise again, even the most difficult tasks can be accomplished. Today, countries around the world are scaling the heights of space.”
