Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad said that 3.50 crore people have taken bath on Makar Sankranti. The Chief Minister is taking information every moment. PM Modi expected that it should be established as a digital Mahakumbh. In view of this, the entire fair area has been scanned with cameras. An attempt has been made to give it a digital form by providing all the facilities including Google location, UPI. Technology including AI has been used in crowd control, traffic management, lost and found location etc.

Kumbh Mela 2025: Devotees will not face any problem
DGP Prashant Kumar said that crowd control is being monitored since late night through state-of-the-art technology. Crowd control was done according to thermal imaging at night, while during the day, traffic is being monitored with tethered drones and CCTV. Due to the longer length of the ghats, there is not much pressure on Sangam Nose this time. Policemen are treating the devotees with sensitivity. Devotees will now go towards Chitrakoot, Vindhyavasini Dham, Varanasi and Ayodhya along with Prayagraj. We have also made arrangements so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience on the roads of these cities.

The bath of the Akharas will start from 6:15 am
The Amrit bath of the Akharas on Tuesday on the occasion of Makar Sankranti will last for about nine and a half hours. It will take more than 12 hours to leave the camp and return. The time for the bath of the saints and Nagas of the Akharas has been fixed.

Naga sadhus do 21 makeup for Amrit bath
Shankarpuri Maharaj of Mahanirvani Akhara told that in Hindu religion, married women do 16 makeup, but Naga sadhus do 21 makeup for Amrit bath. This includes makeup of mind and speech along with the body. Along with this, there is also a wish for all the good things.
This makeup does not mean to show off. Naga sadhus also feel it deep inside. To please Mahadev, Naga Sadhus will take a dip in the Amrit Snan in Sangam along with 21 adornments. Which Akhara will take the dip when?
The saints of Mahanirvani and Atal Akhara will take the bath first. They will depart from the camp at around 5:15 am and will reach Sangam at 6:15 am and will take Amrit Snan for about 40 minutes. The saints of Niranjani and Anand Akhara will take bath at 7:05 am. In the same sequence, the saints of Juna, Aawahan and Panch Agni Akhara will take bath together at 8 am. After them, the saints of Nirvani, Digambar, Nirmohi Akhara will take bath at 10:40, 11:20 and 12:20 am respectively. After this, the saints of Naya Panchayati Akhara will take bath at 1:15 in the day and Bada Panchayati at 2:20 pm. The saints of Nirmal Panchayati Akhara will finally take bath from 3:40 to 4:20 pm.
