PM Modi will virtually inaugurate 103 redeveloped ‘AMRUT Stations’ in 86 districts across 18 states and Union Territories, built at a cost of Rs 1,100 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Bikaner district of Rajasthan on Thursday May 22 , 2025 . He will inaugurate the redeveloped Deshnoke railway station here and lay the foundation stone of several development projects costing more than Rs 26 thousand crore. This visit is taking place at a time when the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed was demolished in Indian action in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, just 40 kilometers from Bikaner. In such a situation, PM Modi’s visit is being seen as a strong message.

Prime Minister Modi will virtually inaugurate 103 redeveloped ‘Amrit Stations’ in 86 districts of 18 states and union territories, which have been built at a cost of Rs 1100 crore. Inspired by temple architecture, the renovated Deshnok station located near the Karni Mata temple has been designed to serve the heavy influx of pilgrims with enhanced passenger amenities, the statement said.
