After the army’s Operation Sindoor, an all-party meeting was held. In this meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, all parties expressed solidarity with the government. Opposition Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has told the government to keep doing the work it is doing.

New Delhi : In response to the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. The government called an all-party meeting after Operation Sindoor. In this meeting, leaders of all parties praised the airstrike and said that they would support every decision of the government and every action of the army. In this meeting held after Operation Sindoor, the national president of the main opposition party Congress and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi not attending this meeting.

Kharge also said in the meeting that whatever work you are doing, keep doing it. We are with you. He also mentioned the Pakistani claim of shooting down Rafale in the meeting, but no one asked the government to answer on this issue. The Congress President, who came out after the all-party meeting, said that we have heard what we were told. We have supported the government. He said that we are standing with the government at this time. The PM probably feels that he is above the Parliament. When the time comes, we will talk but right now we will not criticize anyone.

Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi said that we are united and have been with the government since the beginning. He also said that yes, there are some concerns but it is okay. This is the time for unity. After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi came out and said that we all have supported the government. Leaders of all parties were given 4 to 5 minutes to speak. Along with the Congress, the Samajwadi Party also raised the issue of the Prime Minister’s absence from the all-party meeting.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) MP Supriya Sule raised the issue of viral posts on social media related to the claim of a fighter jet being shot down in Bathinda. At the beginning of the meeting, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave information about Operation Sindoor on behalf of the government. However, the Defense Minister did not give operational details in this meeting. Leaders of all parties expressed solidarity with the government and said that we are together. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, who came out after the meeting, called it good guesture .

Kiren Rijiju said that this operation is still on, so there has been no separate briefing on it. He said that this is a very sensitive topic and everyone has put forward their views with utmost seriousness. Kiren Rijiju said that political parties across the country are making one-line statements regarding Operation Sindoor. This is also a very good thing.

He said that all political parties have shown maturity. The political parties of our country have shown that India is a mature democracy. Kiren Rijiju also said that when we talk about such topics, politics does not matter. He thanked all the opposition parties and also said that unity is affected by fake news.
