Iran-Israel Conflict: Diplomatic rhetoric has intensified amid the Iran-Israel war. At a time when West Asia continues to be the center of violent conflicts, Iran has directly put the responsibility of controlling Israel on the US. The Iranian leadership says that if the US really wants to stop this war, it will now have to take decisive steps.

Netanyahu can calm down in one call – Araghchi

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote in a post on X on Monday June 16, 2025 – “Only one phone call from Washington is enough to calm Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.” He clearly said that this one call can not only stop the conflict, but can also open the way for the return of diplomacy.

If Israel does not stop, retaliatory attacks will continue

Araghchi also said that if US President Donald Trump really believes in diplomacy and is willing to ceasefire, he will have to take further steps carefully and decisively. He warned that if Israel’s aggression does not stop completely, Iran will continue its retaliation.

Iran appeals to Gulf countries

Iran has stepped up its ceasefire efforts and has appealed to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman to contact US President Donald Trump and put pressure on Israel to agree to a ceasefire immediately. According to a Reuters report, two Iranian and three Gulf sources said that Iran has indicated that if steps are taken towards a ceasefire, it is ready to show leniency in nuclear talks. This initiative points to a possible change in regional diplomacy.

Trump’s sharp statement

Donald Trump, taking a tough stand on Iran, wrote on Truth Social, “Iran should have signed the agreement when I said so. This is extremely shameful and a huge waste of human life.” Trump reiterated that “Iran cannot get nuclear weapons under any circumstances”. He also warned all countries, saying “everyone should leave Tehran immediately.”
