Raipur: As India hosts world leaders for the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai here on Sunday , September 13, 2026 has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying the country’s presidency of the influential grouping reflects how significantly India’s stature has risen on the global stage.

Sai said India today commands greater credibility and influence internationally and described the hosting of BRICS under Modi’s leadership as a matter of pride for every Indian.

“Under the strong and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has today emerged on the world stage as a credible and influential power,” Sai said.

According to the Chief Minister, India’s BRICS presidency in 2026 and the hosting of its 18th summit are not merely major diplomatic events but evidence of the country’s growing international standing and its ability to provide leadership on issues affecting the developing world.
