Governor Deka Addresses the Eighth Session of the 6th Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly

Raipur: Governor Ramen Deka addressed the Eighth Session of the 6th Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on Monday February 23, 2026 and delivered his address.
Upon his arrival at the Assembly, Governor Deka was welcomed by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and Leader of the Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant.
The text of the address is as follows:

Honorable Members,

  1. Hearty congratulations to all of you on the silver jubilee of the establishment of the state of Chhattisgarh and the silver jubilee of our Legislative Assembly.
  2. On the occasion of the silver jubilee of the establishment of the state, the new building of our Legislative Assembly was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Hearty congratulations to all of you for this new building, the temple of democracy.
  3. Hearty congratulations to all of you on this first session of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of the state, held in the year 2026.
  4. Now our state has begun its new journey towards becoming a developed state. With collective effort and determination, we will certainly achieve the goal of a developed state by 2047.
  5. Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, created our state. It is a great pleasure to see the vision he set for Chhattisgarh come to fruition.
  6. Chhattisgarh has immense potential for development. Thanks to its simple, easy-going, and hardworking people, my government is working hard to realize these possibilities.
  7. My government’s top priority is the welfare of the downtrodden. Every policy of my government considers how its implementation will benefit the last citizen. When policies are formulated in accordance with this vision, steps towards inclusive development automatically move forward.
  8. Women’s empowerment plays a crucial role in inclusive development. Empowering the mother power is a priority for my government. With this thought in mind, this year is being celebrated as the ‘Mahatari Gaurav Varsh’.
  9. Keeping in mind the goal of rapid economic development along with social welfare, my government has also introduced innovations in line with the new times, the widespread impact of which is visible in the state’s economic development figures.

Honorable Members,

  1. The dream of a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India will only be realised when farmers are strong and prosperous. Therefore, my government is continuously working to connect them with modern technology, ensure fair prices for their crops, and ensure easy access to markets.
  2. This year, 141.04 lakh metric tons of paddy was purchased from 25.24 lakh farmers at the support price, and ₹33,431 crore was paid. My government has decided to pay ₹10,292 crore to farmers before Holi under the ‘Krishak Unnati Yojana’.
  3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre is also a farmer-friendly government. 24.72 lakh farmers in Chhattisgarh are receiving the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
  4. Landless agricultural laborers are also included in my government’s welfare coverage. More than 500,000 landless agricultural laborers in the state are receiving ₹10,000 annually under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Landless Agricultural Laborer Welfare Scheme.
  5. My government is working diligently to ensure quality seeds are available to farmers. To make the state self-sufficient in seed production, 100% subsidy is being provided on certification fees to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and women farmers. In two years, 2.1 million quintals of certified seeds have been distributed.
  6. To ensure that food grains produced by our farmers reach more and more foreign countries through export, my government is working on technologies to increase the shelf life of food grains. To this end, a Center of Excellence is being established at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, with the assistance of the Bhabha Atomic Research Center, at a cost of ₹6 crore.
  7. Farming techniques are changing worldwide. My government is also regularly organising exposure visits for teachers and students engaged in agricultural research. My government is committed to promoting pulses and oilseed crops in the state. The subsidy of Rs. 1,000 per quintal under the ‘Pulse Seed Production Promotion Scheme’ has now been increased to Rs. 5,000. Under the ‘Akti Seed Promotion Scheme’, the subsidy for the production and distribution of oilseed crops has been increased from Rs. 1,000 per quintal to Rs. 1,500 per quintal.
  8. To encourage crop diversification, it has been decided to provide an input subsidy of Rs. 11,000 per acre to farmers who grow other Kharif crops instead of paddy.
  9. To promote the production of edible oil, the central government is promoting palm oil. My government has decided to provide a top-up subsidy of Rs. 69,620 in addition to the subsidy already provided by the central government.
  10. Chhattisgarh has great potential for the cultivation of millets like kodo and ragi, and my government is working towards achieving self-sufficiency in their seeds.
  11. Our forest areas are most conducive to organic farming, and this will open up significant profit potential for local farmers. Organic farming is being practiced on 38,000 hectares in the state.
  12. Our Chhuikhadan has been famous for its betel vines. My government has established a betel research center here.

Honorable Members,

  1. Expanding the agriculture-based economy is impossible without promoting animal husbandry. My government has signed an MoU with the National Dairy Development Board in this area.
  2. The power of cooperation is the greatest strength. Connecting people to this power, 488 new dairy societies have been formed under the “Sahakar Se Samriddhi Yojana.” To increase the income of dairy farmers, the Federation has increased the purchase price of milk from ₹35 to ₹36.50 per liter.
  3. While milk production was 1955 thousand tons in 2022-23, it will increase to 2162 thousand tons in 2024-25. Per capita milk availability has also increased from 180 grams per day in 2022-23 to 194 grams per day. Farmers are not only benefiting from increased milk production, but our children are also receiving better nutrition through it.
  4. The field of fisheries also holds great potential. Kanker district has become a model district in this area nationwide. It has also been selected as the Best Inland District by the Central Government. Currently, our state ranks sixth in the country in terms of fish production. My government has set a goal of bringing it to third place in the country by 2047. This approach, which includes farming in the village, animal husbandry at home, and fish farming in ponds adjacent to the fields, will further increase the income of farmers. My government is working to motivate farmers in this direction. Encouraging results have been achieved. Fish farming is being carried out on 7,580 hectares in the private sector.

Honorable Members,

  1. Irrigation projects are the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh. In the last two years, my government has increased irrigation capacity by 25,000 hectares in the state, bringing the total developed irrigation capacity to 2.176 million hectares.
  2. Approval of ₹1,874 crore has also been granted for 477 irrigation schemes to expand and restore irrigation facilities over 73,000 hectares.
  3. My government has achieved remarkable success in resolving pending compensation cases for land acquired for irrigation schemes. ₹400 crore in compensation was paid to farmers in the 2024-25 financial year, while pending compensation of ₹100 crore related to forest land was paid. This has accelerated the construction of forest-affected irrigation schemes.
  4. Respecting women, protecting their dignity, and empowering them economically are top priorities for my government.
  5. Mothers and sisters are skilled budget managers. Through the ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana,’ we are depositing ₹1,000 each every month into the accounts of approximately 6.9 million women in the state. My government has deposited ₹15,596 crore in 24 installments into the bank accounts of beneficiary women.
  6. Two years ago, my government launched this scheme on International Women’s Day. The identification of beneficiaries was completed within three months. Due to Maoist violence, women in some areas of Bastar were unable to access the scheme. These 7,763 women have also begun receiving benefits from the scheme.
  7. Under the “Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana,” mass marriages of 6,412 couples were held simultaneously across the state in February 2026. Of these, 1,316 couples tied the knot in Raipur. This grand event was recorded in the Golden Book of World Records, a matter of pride for the state. Another notable achievement of this event was the marriage of six surrendered Naxalite couples under this scheme, which sends a powerful message of trust, rehabilitation, and integration into mainstream society.
  8. My government has prioritised schemes for the women’s community. To enable mothers and sisters in rural areas to develop their skills, 137 Mahatari Sadans have been completed and 212 are under construction.
  9. Our children are our future. My government is paying special attention to their nutrition to ensure they are raised with utmost care. The results of the ‘Poshan Tracker App’ are encouraging; it is reducing all indicators of malnutrition among our children.
  10. Our state ranked first in the country in activities per Anganwadi during the Nutrition Fortnight 2025.

Honorable Members,

  1. When the shadow of terror is removed, the light of development automatically spreads, brightening people’s lives.
  2. We have achieved great success in eliminating Maoist terrorism in the last two years. In two years, 532 Maoists were neutralised, 2,704 surrendered, and 2,004 were arrested. My government has implemented a better surrender policy, resulting in misguided youth joining the mainstream. They are relinquishing their weapons and taking up copies of the Constitution. The state is rapidly moving towards freedom from Maoist terror.
  3. Basic amenities are being provided through the “Niyad Nella Naar Yojana” in the highly Naxal-affected areas that have been liberated from Maoism. Seventeen departments are participating in this scheme, and beneficiaries are receiving benefits from 25 government welfare schemes and 18 community facilities.
  4. My government has given special priority to connectivity for development in Bastar. ₹1,109 crore has been approved for the construction of 146 roads and bridges. Work on several important roads and bridges has been completed, and many more are in progress.
  1. The construction of roads from Bijapur-Awapalli-Jagargunda and Bijapur-Modakpal-Taralaguda in Bijapur district, from Gadiras to Mankapal in Sukma district, from Garpa to Kachchapal and from Garpa to Akabeda in Narayanpur district, and bridges across the Chintavagu River on the Basaguda-Dharmavaram-Pamed road, the Mari River, Tumka River, and Mingachal River on the Nelsnar-Gangalur road, and the Phool River from Pedaras to Doleras have been completed.

Hon’ble Members,

  1. 728 mobile towers have been commissioned in Naxal-affected areas. Additionally, 449 mobile towers have been upgraded to 4G. DTH connections have reached villages, and high-mast lamps illuminate the villages at night.
  2. A major benefit is the improvement of education and health services, which have previously lagged behind in these Naxal-affected areas. 31 new primary schools and 19 sub-health centers have been approved.
  3. Due to Maoist terror, children here were unable to receive vaccinations. Since the launch of the Niyada Nella Nar scheme, more than 11,000 children and women have been vaccinated. This is safeguarding the health of future generations.

Hon’ble Members,

  1. My government is actively working to issue forest rights certificates in the tribal areas of the state. Chhattisgarh ranks first in the country in issuing forest rights certificates. To date, 4,83,222 individual forest rights certificates, 48,251 community forest rights certificates, and 4,396 community forest resource rights certificates have been issued in the state. In the last two years, 4,659 individual forest rights certificates, 97 community forest rights certificates, and 89 community forest resource rights certificates, totaling 4,845 forest rights certificates, have been distributed. My government has taken a sensitive decision to simplify the transfer of forest rights certificates to the heirs of individual forest rights holders upon their death and other procedures.
  2. The collection price for tendu leaves has been increased from ₹4,000 to ₹5,500. Charan Padukas are also being distributed to collectors. Collectors are being paid a fair price for forest produce through Van Dhan Kendras.
  3. 31% of our state’s population is tribal. My government is prioritising tribal upliftment.
  4. Post-matric scholarships to students from Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes are now being provided through an online portal. A new system has been implemented from 2025-26 to ensure timely payment.
  5. Similarly, Eklavya Model Residential Schools are playing a vital role in the overall development of tribal students. Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School, Kosambudha, received first place and a prize of ₹1 crore in a national competition, which is a matter of pride for the state.
  6. Chhattisgarh secured second place in the country at the National Sports Competition 2025 held in Sundargarh, Odisha. Students from Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School brought honor to the state by winning a total of 162 medals.
  7. My government is working diligently towards tribal development to fulfill the vision of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Work is progressing rapidly under the ‘PM Janman Yojana’ and ‘Dharti Aba Tribal Village Upliftment Campaign’. One and a half lakh Adi Karmayogis have been prepared through the ‘Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan’. They will lead development in rural areas. Chhattisgarh has been honored as the best performing state by President Draupadi Murmu for the excellent implementation of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana’ and Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
  8. To preserve the memory of Martyr Veernarayan Singh and other tribal martyrs, my government has established the country’s first digital museum, the Martyr Veernarayan Singh Memorial cum Tribal Freedom Fighter Museum, in Nava Raipur. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of State Foundation Day. My government is also building a Tribal and Cultural Convention Center in Nava Raipur. This will significantly help preserve our tribal culture.

Honorable Members,

  1. My government is committed to preserving the beautiful tribal culture of the state. Bastar Pandum has been successfully organized for the second consecutive year. This year, the number of genres in Bastar Pandum has been increased from 7 to 12. While 47,000 artists registered for Bastar Pandum last year, this year the number has increased to 54,745. The President of India graced the inauguration of Bastar Pandum. He praised this wonderful initiative to preserve Bastar’s culture. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah encouraged the participants at the closing ceremony of Bastar Pandum.
  2. My government has developed a plan to preserve and promote the Akhara, the place of worship of our tribal brothers.
  3. It is a matter of pride for us that Chhattisgarh has been awarded the hosting rights of the country’s first Khelo India Tribal Games. Through the Tribal Games, the country and the world will see a glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s beautiful tribal culture. Through this event, the world will no longer see the smoke of gunpowder in Bastar, but the magnificent milky view of the Chitrakoot Falls. Following the successful organization of the Bastar Olympics, my government is also organizing the Surguja Olympics.

Honorable Members,

  1. My government’s commitment to providing housing to all has been known to you since the first day of its formation. In its very first cabinet meeting, my government announced the provision of 18 lakh houses for the poor.
  1. My government is preparing young people for constructive and creative roles. We are working to provide them with sound education, skill upgradation, and also to enhance their entrepreneurial potential.
  2. We consider education the greatest opportunity to advance our youth. My government is continuously striving to create a better education system. Nava Raipur is being developed as an education hub. Prestigious institutions from across the country are being established here, eliminating the need for youth to travel outside the state for higher education.
  3. My government has provided a five-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for youth to appear in competitive examinations. Additionally, recruitment is underway for approximately 32,000 positions in various departments.
  4. Chhattisgarh’s handicrafts are renowned nationwide. Champa’s silk sarees are renowned even abroad. My government has decided to establish the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NITFT) in Nava Raipur. This institute will give wings to the dreams of talented designers in the state.
  5. The implementation of the National Education Policy has strengthened the foundation of school education in the state. Every possible effort is being made to ensure better education for children.
  6. The launch of the first space center in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, has given new wings to children’s dreams, and Chhattisgarh is progressing in space science. The “Antariksh Sangwari” initiative will benefit students, farmers, and youth, increase employment, and be expanded to every district.
  7. Similarly, a Science City is being established in Nava Raipur. Astro parks are being built in Pratappur and Mayapur, where the Tropic of Cancer passes, in Surajpur district. Mobile science labs are being established in Bastar and Surguja in collaboration with the National Council of Science Museum, Kolkata, to facilitate space-related experiments for schoolchildren.
  8. Climate change is a major challenge of our time. To address this, my government is continuously working to expand forest cover. According to the Indian State of Forest Report, the state’s forest and tree cover has increased by 683 square kilometers, the highest in the country.
  9. My government is also working to promote solar energy. It is crucial to engage the new generation with environmental awareness. Work is underway to achieve this through eco-clubs.
  10. To create significant opportunities for the young population, my government has implemented a new industrial policy. This policy provides attractive subsidies for setting up enterprises in the state. My government has implemented over 400 reforms in accordance with the Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living. The single-window system has significantly simplified NOCs. My government is among the leading states in the country to introduce the Public Trust Act. Through this, 279 provisions of various acts have been amended. Several reforms have been made in GST, which are benefiting the state’s businesses. All these reforms have significantly eased business in the state.
  11. Due to the new industrial policy, investment proposals worth ₹7.83 lakh crore have been received so far. It is heartening to note that these investments are also coming in sectors such as semiconductors, IT, pharma, and AI.
  12. To encourage young entrepreneurs, my government has formulated the Chhattisgarh Innovation and Startup Promotion Policy 2025-26. This policy will create a strong ecosystem for startups in the state. Through this, Chhattisgarh will emerge as a leading innovation hub in the country.
  13. The Prime Minister’s focus is on Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. My government is working with determination to develop Naya Raipur, Raipur, and Durg-Bhilai by including them as the State Capital Region.
  14. My government is working diligently to expand investment opportunities in Naya Raipur through the establishment of an IT hub, AI hub, pharma hub, and textile park.

Honorable Members,

  1. My government has signed an MoU with Bombay Hospital in Naya Raipur. A 300-bed super-specialty hospital will be built here at a cost of ₹680 crore. This hospital will play a vital role in providing better and accessible treatment to the poor.
  2. My government has issued Ayushman cards for 8.1 million families in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Ayushman Vaya Vandana cards have been issued for more than 496,000 senior citizens. Through this scheme, ₹4,551 crore has been paid in over 314,440,000 claim cases in the last two years.
  3. Similarly, under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, an amount of ₹62 crore has been released for the treatment of 2,273 patients in the last two years.
  4. My government is working effectively on all health-related programs. Statistics bear out these achievements. 4,106 gram panchayats in the state have become TB-free. The treatment success rate has reached 92 percent. Additionally, an agreement has been signed between the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the Social Welfare Department to make the state cataract-free.
  5. Our state has been grappling with the problem of sickle cell. My government is working on a mission mode to address this crisis. Chhattisgarh is the leading state in the country in achieving excellent results in eliminating sickle cell.
  1. My government is working seriously to promote medical education, and to this end, five new medical colleges are being established in Jashpur, Manendragarh, Kabirdham, Janjgir-Champa, and Dantewada districts. This has increased the number of MBBS seats in the state by 250. MBBS education is also being offered in Hindi medium. My government is also establishing six new physiotherapy colleges and nine nursing colleges.
  2. Medical staff are the backbone of health services. In the last two years, my government has filled 1,639 positions in various cadres of health services, and recruitment for 2,300 positions is underway.
  3. My government is also conducting eye tests for schoolchildren. To this end, camps are being held regularly in schools. Spectacles have been distributed to 162,000 schoolchildren.

Honorable Members,

  1. My government is committed to making the state a hub for manufacturing and service industries. Under the double-engine government, infrastructure has rapidly developed in the state. Railway projects worth ₹51,000 crore are underway in the state. The Jagdalpur-Raoghat railway line will accelerate Bastar’s development. Similarly, the doubling of the KK (Kottavalsa to Kirandul) railway line is progressing rapidly. This will be crucial for Bastar’s development.
  2. The Dongargarh-Kawardha-Katghora railway line has been approved, and survey and DPR work is underway for the Korba-Ambikapur railway line. The Dharamjaigarh-Lohardaga and Kharsia-Nava Raipur-Parmalkasa routes will improve connectivity to industrial centers, accelerating the state’s economic progress.
  3. To accelerate Chhattisgarh’s economic development, two new expressways, Raipur-Visakhapatnam and Raipur-Dhanbad, are being constructed. Under infrastructure development, my government has approved 919 roads, 188 bridges, and 19 buildings, totaling 4,878 kilometers in length, costing ₹8,920 crore (approximately $1.8 billion). Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 774 roads totaling 2,426 kilometers in length have been approved. In the last two years, 241 kilometers of road construction has been completed on nine national highways at a cost of ₹1,731 crore (approximately $1.8 billion).
  4. Along with developing road infrastructure in the interior areas, my government has also launched the “Chief Minister Rural Bus Service Scheme” to provide transportation facilities to the people. In the first phase, the same number of buses are operating on 57 routes, providing passenger bus service to 330 villages for the first time.
  5. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Maa Mahamaya Airport in Ambikapur. My government is continuously working to strengthen the airports in Raipur, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, and Ambikapur. My government has also initiated cargo facilities at Raipur Airport, which has provided significant relief to businesses.
  6. Our cities have achieved good rankings in the Swachhta Survey and are becoming suitable for ease of living. Under the ‘Chief Minister’s Urban Development Scheme’, the infrastructure of urban bodies is being rapidly upgraded with an amount of Rs. 525 crore.
  7. My government is preparing the state as a powerhouse for a developed India. To this end, my government also organised an Energy Summit, where investment proposals worth Rs. 3.5 lakh crore were received.
  8. Citizens are reaping the direct benefits of being an energy-rich state. In the year 2025-26, a provision of approximately ₹500 crore has been made to provide free electricity up to 30 units to over 1.5 million BPL families.
  9. We are committed to providing the benefits of the “Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme” to the citizens of the state. In addition to the grant provided by the central government, my government is also providing a subsidy of up to ₹30,000 under this scheme, due to which a large number of consumers are coming forward to avail the benefits of the scheme.
  10. Under this scheme, 132,000 consumers have registered to install solar plants. Solar plants have been installed in 27,400 homes through 880 vendors, and the process of installing 48,000 solar plants is underway.

Honorable Members,

  1. We are fully engaged in building a developed Chhattisgarh, and our working brothers have played a significant role in this. For the welfare of workers, the Central Government has replaced 29 old labor laws with four labor codes. My government is working rapidly on their implementation. In two years, more than ₹800 crore has been allocated for labor welfare schemes.
  2. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Vikasit Bharat Ji-Ram Ji Act was introduced to strengthen rural development and strengthen the right to employment by addressing the shortcomings of MNREGA.
  3. Our state is rich in mineral resources. This is the foundation of our development. My government is working seriously to explore them. Chhattisgarh is the first state to allocate lithium blocks. The e-auction process has been adopted to ensure transparency in the auction of sand mines.
  4. Major decisions have been taken to streamline administrative processes. My government has adopted transparency through digital governance. To eliminate red tape, the e-filing system has been implemented. A biometric attendance system has been introduced.
  5. Just as continuous study refines a person’s thinking and abilities, similarly, regular training of officers and employees improves their skills.
  1. Changes have also been made to the methods of evaluating confidential character rolls. This is enabling a better assessment of the efficiency of officers and employees.
  2. The Revenue Department is directly connected to the concerns of the general public. My government has implemented major reforms by adopting technology to provide relief to the general public.
  3. Surveys have been initiated in rural areas using modern technology like DGPS and Rover. My government has decided to initiate a new land survey in urban areas on a scale of 1500. This will make it possible to record small plots of land on land maps. Geo-referencing of Patwari maps is also being carried out.
  4. The diversion process is being simplified and made online, enabling auto-diversion. The process of self-transfer has also begun. Surveys have also been completed in 970 unsurveyed villages in the state.
  5. The authority to correct errors in revenue records, previously held only by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Rural), has now been delegated to Tehsildars to facilitate the general public.
  6. My government has made improvements to simplify and facilitate the registry. Ten revolutionary initiatives in this direction have made the registry simple, easy, and transparent.

Respected Members,

  1. My government is committed to preserving and enhancing the beautiful culture of Chhattisgarh. Recently, the Rajim Kumbha Kalpa was beautifully organised. Saints from across the country gathered there, and people benefited from its sacred benefits.
  2. Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji gave us the message of “Manke Manke Ek Saman.” My government is committed to preserving the sacred land associated with him. Facilities have been significantly expanded for devotees visiting Girodpuri Dham, the sacred place of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji. On the occasion of the Girodpuri Dham Fair, food and medical facilities, drinking water, electricity, emergency services, and security and sanitation facilities have been enhanced for devotees. My government is carrying out development work worth ₹162 crore in Bhandarpuri.
  3. Literature refines our sensibilities and enriches public life. Chhattisgarh has always had a rich literary tradition. The first Hindi story was written on this sacred land. To promote literary traditions in this fertile land of literature, my government organized the Raipur Literature Festival. Renowned literary figures from across the country participated in this three-day festival. A large number of literature lovers attended this beautiful event.
  4. My government is also building the Chitrotpala Film City. Our flourishing Chhaliwood industry will now have access to excellent shooting locations, and this will enrich Chhattisgarhi cinema.

  1. Protecting the environment is our top priority. To this end, more than 7 crore saplings have been planted under the Prime Minister’s “One Tree in the Name of Mother” campaign.
  2. Chhattisgarh is rapidly establishing itself on the global tourism map. Dhudmaras in Bastar has been selected as the best tourist village by the UN Tourism Organisation. The world is drawing attention to our biodiversity. Through the Shaktipeeth Corridor, better facilities are being ensured for devotees at Shakti sites. Kopra Reservoir in Bilaspur district has been selected as a Ramsar site. Work is underway to develop Bhoramdev in Kawardha district and Mayali in Jashpur district through the “Swadesh Darshan Yojana.”

Honorable Members,

  1. The Anjor Vision Document has been prepared to make the state a developed state by the year 2047. This is the blueprint of my government’s vision. Moving forward, we are rapidly and successfully working towards achieving the goals of the vision document.
  2. My government continuously seeks feedback from the public and formulates policies in accordance with their expectations and vision, so that through collective participation, we can move forward towards improving Chhattisgarh.
