Pachpadra (Rajasthan): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday July 4, 2026 inaugurated the landmark Pachpadra Greenfield Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Rajasthan, describing it as a transformative project that will strengthen India’s energy infrastructure while accelerating industrial and economic development in western India.

The mega refinery, one of the country’s most ambitious energy projects, is expected to significantly enhance India’s crude oil refining capacity and reduce dependence on imported petroleum products.
