Balod: The concept of building a grand and huge Kaushalya Dham in Pateshwar Ashram located in the remote forest area of Dundilohara development block of Balod district, established as the main center of Sanatan culture and faith in the entire country and the world including Chhattisgarh, is going to be realised soon.
Director of Pateshwar Seva Sansthan, Shri Ram Balakdas Mahatyagi said that the construction work of Kaushalya Dham is in the final stage. He said that after the construction work of Mata Kaushalya Dham is completed, it will be formally inaugurated in the year 2026.
Saint Shri Ram Balakdas said that the grand and huge Kaushalya Mata Dham being built with the cooperation of all sections of the society will be the only Kaushalya Dham in the entire country and the world. He said that a 7 feet tall statue of Mother Kaushalya holding Lord Shri Ramlala in her lap will be installed on the second floor of the three-storey Kaushalya Dham temple under construction in about 4 acres of land in the Pateshwar Ashram premises.
He said that this statue will be the first its kind in the entire country and the world. Shiv Linga will be installed on the first floor of Kaushalya Dham. Along with this, the statue of Panchmukhi Hanuman will be installed on the third floor. Saint Ram Balakdas said that the construction work of all the three statues is in the final stage. Apart from this, statues of a total of 108 worshipped deities and great men of all castes and sects like Agni, Vayu, Sahastrabahu, Kabir, Sant Ravidas, Jhulelal, Karma Mata, Parmeshwari Mata etc. will be installed in this grand and huge three-storey Kaushalya Dham.
As a result, the Kaushalya Dham will be established as the centre of faith and religious harmony of all religions and castes. After the completion of the construction of Mata Kaushalya Dham in Pateshwar Ashram situated in the picturesque valleys of nature amidst dense forests and mountains in the tribal dominated Bada Jungera village of Dondilohara development block of Balod district, this Dham will be established as a major centre of faith and attraction for devotees and visitors.
It is worth mentioning hat Pateshwar Dham, situated in a vast area of about 12 acres, is the main centre of faith for the people of Sanatan culture in the entire country including Chhattisgarh state. Apart from organising a huge fair on the occasion of Maghi Purnima and Guru Purnima, devotees and visitors reach Pateshwar Dham every day. The Pateshwar Dham is also known as Jamdipat. It also has historical and cultural importance.
The place has been a centre of faith for the tribal society and the people of the region since the beginning. After climbing 416 steps on the upper hill of this ashram complex, the deity of the people of 12 villages and tribal society of the region is established.
On the occasion of various festivals, puja is peformed here by the tribal society and the people of the region. Sant Ram Balakdas, director of Pateshwar Dham Seva Sansthan, told that his Guru Dev Raj Yogi Baba Ji had lit an Akhand Dhuni under the tree after coming to Pateshwar Dham in 1975. Akhand Dhuni is being lit continuously at the place.
Besides , the statue of Hanuman facing south has been installed in the temple complex of Pateshwar Dham since 1977. A water tank is installed in the Pateshwar Dham complex, the water of the tank never dries up. It is worth mentioning that Sita Rasoi is also being operated in the Pateshwar Dham complex. Where free food is provided to the devotees, visitors coming to the Pateshwar Dham complex.
Saint Ram Balakdas told that in 2015, during the Katha Vachan organised in the presence of Jagat Guru Rajendra Devacharya and the four Jagat Gurus, it was suggested to establish Maa Kaushalya Dham in the Pateshwar Dham premises. By assimilating this, the construction work of Maa Kaushalya Dham is being started at the place and it is being given a concrete form.
Euphemistically, the idea of constructing the only Kaushalya Dham of the country and the world in Balod district of Chhattisgarh, the maternal home of Lord Shri Ramchandra ji and the maternal home of Mata Kaushalya, is going to be realised soon. Here, the 07 feet high statue of Mata Kaushalya holding the little child Lord Shri Ramlala in her lap will be installed in Kaushalya Dham. This statue of Mata Kaushalya is being made from red stones of Rajasthan.
He said that people from all sections of the society have contributed in the construction of the grand and huge temple. The Kaushalya Dham, built with public cooperation, will be unique and incomparable in itself and this place in Balod district will be famous all over the world by the name of Maa Kaushalya Dham.
