Environment garden has been built in 28 hectares at a cost of Rs 53 lakhs
Raipur: If you want to spend time with your family in a clean environment amidst nature, then the Environment Garden built in Bagia is waiting for you. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Sunday April 6 inaugurated the Environment Garden in his native village Bagia located in Jashpur district. During the inauguration , the Chief Minister also gave the message of environmental protection by planting coconut, betel nut and Sita and Ashok trees in the garden premises.
Adventure zone, plants full of medicinal properties, children’s park, waterfall, meditation hut, butterfly zone displaying the life cycle of butterflies and many other constructions have been done in the Environment Garden built in 28 hectares at a cost of Rs 53 lakh in a picturesque natural environment, which takes people closer to nature and gives them a joyful experience. During this, the Chief Minister told the villagers present there that employment opportunities will be created here after its construction.
Plants rich in medicinal properties have been planted in the garden
A jungle trail has been constructed in the environment garden. Where yoga zone, Arogya Van Path, Jungle Gym, Butterfly Zone, Mowgli Adventure Zone, Oxygen Booth, Pagoda, Gajraj Zone, Pond, Natural Swings, Kids Play Zone have been built. Plants of many species like Harra, Giloy, Bailey Bamboo, Sarpagandha, Ashwagandha, Barbados Lily, Mint, Lemon Grass, Patharchatta, Amla etc. rich in medicinal properties have been planted here.
The butterfly zone built in the garden depicts the entire life cycle of the butterfly while demonstrating the contribution of the butterfly to the environment. All the species of butterflies found in Jashpur have also been displayed here. The purpose of this display is to give information to the people about butterflies as well as tell them about the importance of their conservation.
There are various adventure games for children in Mowgli Adventure Zone
Attractive swings have been installed for children in the Kids Play Zone built in the garden. In which natural swings have also been made. Apart from this, Mowgli Adventure Zone has been created for the entertainment of children. Where commando net, tire walk, balance bridge, tire climbing, rope walk, inclined log, cargo net, single line bridge, Burma bridge etc. have been made.
Sarai Chaav Natural Pagoda has been constructed in the garden. Where one can enjoy nature with family. Cast statues depicting primitive culture have also been installed here by primitive artists. Attractive dustbins made of bamboo have also been installed in this garden, showing awareness towards the environment.
The Chief Minister met the children with full affection, gave fruits and dry fruits–
Whenever the Chief Minister meets children, he meets them with full affection. Today, when the Chief Minister was observing the Paryavaran Vatika, he called the children playing there to him and talked them with love. The Chief Minister presented them fruits and dry fruits. Primary school students Dipanshu Yadav, Neetu Dewar, Bhim Vishwakarma, Ritesh Ram and other children looked very happy after meeting the Chief Minister.
MLA and Vice President of Sarguja Area Tribal Development Authority Gomti Sai, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, PCCF Arun Pandey, Commissioner Narendra Dugga, IG Ankit Garg, Collector Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shashimohan Singh, Divisional Forest Officer Jitendra Upadhyay, IFS Nikhil Agarwal, Rampratap Singh, Bharat Singh, Sunil Gupta along with other officials and public representatives were present on the occasion .
