Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Participates in Divine Shri Hanumant Katha Ceremony

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with his wife, participated in the 5-day Divine Shri Hanumant Katha ceremony held at Jayanti Stadium Ground, Bhilai on Saturday December 27, 2025 .

Chief Minister Sai said that it is a great fortune for all of us. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Maharaj’s blessings have always been bestowed upon Chhattisgarh. He mentioned that Lord Rama spent most of his exile period in Chhattisgarh. This is also the land of Mata Shabari, where she offered Lord Rama food that she had already tasted.

Referring to the Shri Ram Lala Ayodhya Dham Yojana, the Chief Minister said that more than 38,000 devotees have already been taken to Ayodhya Dham for darshan of Lord Rama, and the visits are continuing.

Mentioning the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Darshan Scheme, he said that this scheme, which had been suspended for the past 5 years, has been restarted. So far, 5000 elderly people have benefited from it. Under this scheme, elderly devotees from the state are being taken to 19 major pilgrimage sites across the country.

The Chief Minister said that to empower women, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been launched, providing Rs. 1000 per month. Approximately 70 lakh women are benefiting from this scheme. He mentioned that women from Dansara village in Sarangarh district are constructing a Lord Rama temple by pooling the money received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the vision of an undivided India envisioned by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will surely be fulfilled one day.

The time for awakening has arrived in the country and the world, and the enthusiasm with which you all have participated suggests that the time has come for India to become a world leader.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with his wife, participated in the aarti and prayed for the prosperity and happiness of the state.

This Divine Shri Hanumant Katha is being organised by the Seva Samarpan Committee from December 25 to December 29, 2025.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Backward Classes Development Authority, MLA Lalit Chandrakar, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Khadi Board Rakesh Pandey, former MP Saroj Pandey, former MLAs Labhchand Bafna and Arun Vora, along with office bearers of the organising committee, other public representatives, prominent citizens of the city, and a large number of devotees were present.
