Raipur: On the occasion of the grand conclusion of the Rajim Kumbh Kalpa 2026 held in the holy city of Rajim, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai first visited the ancient and historic Rajiv Lochan Temple and performed the ritualistic prayers on Sunday February 15, 2026 .

Bowing at the feet of Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan, he prayed for the happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being of all the people of the state. He said that this sacred pilgrimage is a living symbol of our eternal faith, cultural heritage, and social harmony.

Following this, Chief Minister Sai performed Jalabhishek at the Kuleshwarnath Mahadev Temple, located at the Triveni Sangam, and received the blessings of Lord Shiva. Wishing the state continued progress, peace, and prosperity, he said that the Rajim Kumbh Mela is not merely a religious event, but a grand celebration of our spiritual energy, cultural unity, and folk traditions, which serves to unite society.

After visiting the temple, Chief Minister Sai participated in the grand Maha Aarti held on the banks of the Mahanadi. The atmosphere, illuminated by Vedic chanting, the sound of conch shells, and the sacred light of lamps, filled the entire confluence area with a divine aura. Chief Minister Sai reverently performed the Aarti of the Mahanadi River and prayed for the state’s progress and prosperity.

In his address, the Chief Minister stated that the Rajim Kumbh Mela is a medium to pass on our traditions to the new generation and strengthens social harmony, trust, and unity.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal, MP Roopkumari Chaudhary, Rajim MLA Rohit Sahu, Abhanpur MLA Indra Kumar Sahu, along with numerous public representatives, saints, and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
