Chhattisgarh Govt Scheme Benefits to Reach Tribal Villages

“Jan Bhagidari – Sabse Dur, Sabse Pehle” (Public Participation – Farthest First) Campaign to Run from May 18 to 25
Raipur: To ensure the reach of government schemes in tribal areas, the Tribal Development Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh will conduct the “Jan Bhagidari – Sabse Dur, Sabse Pehle” (Public Participation – Farthest First) campaign from May 18 to 25 , 2026.
This campaign will be implemented in “as many as 1,544 villages “covered under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) and “as many as 6,691 villages “under the Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan.
According to an order issued from the Mantralaya (Secretariat) at Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur on Friday May 15, 2026 the benefits of schemes related to health, education, social security, nutrition, and drinking water will be delivered to eligible beneficiaries in all districts of the state, with the exception of Raipur. Officials will visit the villages to conduct public hearings, and grievances will be resolved at “Adi Seva Kendras.”
As part of the campaign, health camps will be organised for screening for Sickle Cell Anemia and Tuberculosis (TB). Under a digital monitoring mechanism, daily photographs, videos, and testimonials from beneficiaries will be uploaded to the “Adi Prasaran” portal.
The government has issued directives to ensure the active participation of elected representatives, voluntary organisations, the NSS, the NCC, and Self-Help Groups in the campaign.
The campaign will also be coordinated in conjunction with the “Sushasan Tihar” (Good Governance Festival) and the “Janjatiya Garima Utsav” (Tribal Dignity Festival).
