Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday February 26, 2026 watched the film ‘Shatak’, based on the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), at Zora Mall in the state capital. Members of the Council of Ministers and public representatives were also present.
After the screening, Chief Minister Shri Sai said the film is a vivid portrayal of patriotism, public service and lifelong commitment. He announced that the State Government has decided to make ‘Shatak’ tax-free in Chhattisgarh to ensure that the inspiring journey of the Sangh reaches every citizen and motivates the youth towards national service.
“The RSS’s journey, which began under the guidance of Pujaniya Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Ji and was later strengthened by Pujaniya Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar Ji, reflects a century of discipline and dedication.The spirit of placing nation and public service above all continues to guide governance and expressed confidence that the film will inspire society towards nation-building,” Sai said .
Appreciating roles and dedication of Sangh’s workers, Sai said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has worked to reach the last person in society through education, service and social harmony. During times of disaster, crisis and social need, the spirit of service demonstrated by Sangh workers has played a significant role in strengthening society – upholding the spirit of ‘Nation First’ by lakhs of ‘swayamsevaks’.
