CG Rajyotsav-2024: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar honored personalities and institutions of Chhattisgarh with 36 decorations

Raipur CG Rajyotsav-2024: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today honored 37 personalities and 4 institutions who have made outstanding contributions from various fields with 36 decorations of Chhattisgarh at the State Decoration Ceremony of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav. Governor Ramen Deka presided over the ceremony. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh were present as the special guests.

On the third day of Rajyotsav in the capital Nava Raipur, a ceremony was organised to confer decorations in the name of great personalities of the state. In the State Decoration Ceremony, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar presented the Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Award for the upliftment of tribal backward classes by the Tribal Welfare Department to Butlu Ram Mathra. Similarly, the Yeti Yatanlal Award given by the General Administration Department in the field of non-violence and cow protection was given to Manohar Gaushala Khairagarh, Gundadhur Award for outstanding performance in the field of sports by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department was given to Chhoti Mehra, Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdev Award for outstanding performance in the field of sports (archery) was given to Vikas Kumar.

Similarly, the Minimata Award in the field of women empowerment by the Women and Child Development Department was given to Satnami Mahila Samiti Kohka District Durg, Veerangana Rani Avantibai Lodhi Smriti Award for empowering bravery, courage and self-confidence in women was given to Aditi Kashyap and Mata Bahadur Kalarin Award for fighting against oppression of women, women upliftment was given to Kumari Chitrarekha Sinha, Guru Ghasidas Award in the field of social consciousness and Dalit upliftment by the Tribal Welfare Department was given to Rajendra Rangeela (Gilhare), Thakur Pyarelal Award in the field of cooperation by the Cooperative Department was given to Shashikant Dwivedi.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Award for remarkable work in social, economic, educational field by General Administration Department was given to All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Jashpurnagar, District Jashpur, Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Award for excellent work in the field of Hindi literature by Culture Department was given to Dr. Satyabhama Adil, Chakradhar Award in the field of music and art by Culture Department was given to Pt. Sudhakar Rambhau Shevlikar by Vice President Dhankhar. Dau Mandraji Award given by Culture Department in the field of folk art and crafts was given to Pandiram Mandavi.

Lakshman Masturia Award for Chhattisgarhi folk song by Culture Department was given to Nirmala Thakur (Belchandan) and Khuman Saw Award for Chhattisgarhi folk music was given to Dushyant Kumar Harmukh, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Award in the field of agriculture by Agriculture Department was jointly given to Shivkumar Chandravanshi and Khemraj Patel. Maharaja Agrasen Award for remarkable work in the field of social harmony by the General Administration Department was given to Siyaram Agarwal, Danveer Bhamashah Award in the field of charity, harmony and exemplary assistance by the Social Welfare Department was given to Subhash Chand Agarwal, Mrs. Bilasabai Kenwatin Matsya Vikas Award for excellent work in the field of fish farming by the Fisheries Department was given to Vinod Das by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Bhanwar Singh Porte Award given by the Tribal Welfare Department in the field of service and upliftment of tribals was given to Chhattisgarh Tribal Welfare Institute Anupam Nagar Raipur. Maharaja Ramanuj Pratap Singhdev Award in the field of labor by the Labor Department was jointly given to Surendra Kumar Rathore, Shri Shobha Singh and Shri Lalit Kumar Nayak. Pandit Lakhan Lal Mishra Award in the field of crime investigation by the Home (Police) Department was given to Shri Ramnaresh Yadav, Bisahudas Mahant Award in the field of weavers by the Village Industries Department was jointly given to Pannalal Devangan and Bahori Lal Devangan by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Village Industries Department jointly awarded the Rajrajeshwari Karunamata Handloom Promotion Award in the field of weavers to Satyanarayan Dewangan and Arun Mehar.

The Culture Department awarded the Devdas Banjare Memorial Award in the field of performing folk arts to Bhagat Guleri, the Culture Department awarded the Devdas Memorial Panthi Dance Award in the field of folk style Panthi dance to Sadhe Lal Ratre, the Culture Department awarded the Kishore Sahu Award in the field of creative writing, direction, acting, screenplay, production in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema to Prakash Awasthi, the Kishore Sahu National Decoration given by the Culture Department for direction in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema was awarded to Shri Satish Jain.

The Health Department awarded the Dhanwantri Award to Dr. Manohar Lal Laheja for remarkable work in the field of Ayurveda medical education and research. Barrister Thakur Chhedilal Award for outstanding work in the field of law by the Law and Legislative Department was jointly presented to Mr. Surendra Tiwari and Mr. Prakash Chandra Pant, Chhattisgarh Non-Resident Indian Award for outstanding work in the field of social welfare, human resource development, art, literature or economic contribution outside the country by the Culture Department to Anand Kumar Pandey, Lala Jagdalpuri Sahitya Award for outstanding work in the field of literature, regional literature by the Culture Department was presented by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Journalism Award in the field of Hindi Print Media Journalism was given by the Public Relations Department to Bholaram Sinha, Mohan Tiwari in the field of Electronic Media (Hindi), Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award in the field of Print Media (English) to Mukesh S. Singh, Pandit Madhavrao Sapre National Creativity Award given in the field of creative writing and Hindi language was given to Atul Jain.
