Counting has started on 46 assembly and 2 Lok Sabha seats of 15 states.

Congress has fielded Priyanka Gandhi on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. She is contesting election for the first time. After Sonia Gandhi went to Rajya Sabha, there was speculation that Priyanka would contest Lok Sabha election from Rae Bareli. But, Rahul contested from both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats and chose Rae Bareli seat after winning. Voting was held on 20 November on 9 seats of UP. Here, during voting on Meerapur seat, the mob pelted stones on the police, so the police had to run to save their lives. After this, the inspector pointed a pistol to disperse the mob and threatened to shoot.

Election should be rescheduled – SP candidate
SP candidate from Kundarki, Haji Rizwan said that there has been rigging in the election. The BJP people looted the entire crowd. BJP did not let the votes be cast. Minorities are unsafe in the BJP government. Election should be rescheduled.
