Bus services reached Kutul in Abujhmad of Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh

The picture of villages is changing due to Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana

Raipur: A new pace of development is being seen in the Maoist-affected Abujhmad region of Chhattisgarh. After the establishment of 14 new police camps in the interiors of Narayanpur district under the Niyyad Nellanar Yojana, roads, bridges and mobile connectivity are expanding rapidly .

In this episode, for the first time on May 13 , 2025 the district administration started a direct bus service from Narayanpur to village Kutul. This bus service is connecting village Kutul, located about 49 km from the district headquarters, as well as remote villages like Kurusnar, Basing, Kundla, Kohkameta, Irkbhatti, Kachchapal and Kodlier. There is an atmosphere of special enthusiasm among the villagers due to the start of the bus service.

Earlier, people of these villages used to travel using footpaths. During the rainy season, it was very difficult to take patients to the hospital due to the overflowing of rivers and streams. Many times, villagers had to carry the sick person to the hospital on their shoulders. Now, with the start of bus service, not only has transportation become easier, but the villagers are also getting the facility to reach Narayanpur on time for fulfilling their daily needs and administrative works done .

Similarly, bus service has been started for 14 villages from Narayanpur to Maspur, due to which the people of these areas have got better connectivity with the district headquarters. Under the scheme, 4G mobile towers have also been installed, due to which people of villages Kasturmeta, Maspur, Irkbhatti, Mohandi, Horadi, Garpa and Kachchapal are now able to connect to the mobile network. This has not only improved the communication system, but has also improved the access to educational, health and administrative services.

The villagers expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the district administration saying that that after years they are now getting an opportunity to join the mainstream of development. The Niyad Nellnar scheme has brought new light to their lives.
