A major political development has occurred in Gujarat. The resignations of all ministers in the state cabinet have been accepted at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

According to sources, this decision was taken at the direction of the central leadership. Senior party leaders conveyed this decision to the ministers at a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence. Following this, all ministers submitted their resignations to the Chief Minister.

According to reports, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will meet with the Governor tonight to submit the resignations of the Council of Ministers. This move is believed to be part of a possible cabinet expansion in the state.

However, no official statement has yet been issued by the BJP or the Chief Minister’s Office on this development.

Cabinet Expansion to Take Place Tomorrow

According to reports, the new Council of Ministers will be sworn in at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar at 11:30 am on Friday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J.P. Nadda will also be present.

BJP State President Asks CM to Resign

According to sources, Gujarat State President Jagdish Vishwakarma has asked all 16 ministers in the state government, except Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, to resign. The Chief Minister will now submit the resignations of his council of ministers to the Governor.

According to BJP sources, this change is being made with the aim of injecting new energy into the organization and government. The party leadership wants to strengthen its future political strategy by incorporating young and new faces in the state.

It is noteworthy that Gujarat Assembly elections are due in 2027, and the party wants to form a new team at both the administrative and political levels before then.
