Affordable and quality healthcare is our government’s priority – Chief Minister Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Criticon Raipur-2025 conference
Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that ensuring affordable and quality healthcare is the state government’s top priority. He attended the national conference on critical care, “Criticon Raipur-2025,” held on Saturday October 25, 2025 at a private hotel in Nava Raipur, the capital.
Chief Minister Sai stated that Criticon Raipur-2025 is a platform for innovation and excellence in medical science, especially critical care. It brings together experts and researchers from India and abroad, providing an opportunity to chart new paths in this field. Critical care medicine is the backbone of lifesaving, giving new life to patients in critical conditions. He stated that the state government is paying special attention to expanding hospitals, critical care units, and medical facilities in both rural and urban areas.
Chief Minister Sai said that a Medicity and Pharma Hub is being constructed in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, and new hospitals are being established continuously in other cities of the state. He stated that these initiatives will prove to be milestones in the healthcare sector for Chhattisgarh.
Congratulating the entire team of Ramakrishna Care Group for this national event, Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is emerging as a center of medical excellence across the country.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh stated that Raipur is honored to host a conference on such a crucial topic as critical care. The deliberations of experts at this two-day conference will undoubtedly yield outstanding innovations that will prove to be a boon for human health care. Dr. Singh stated that the use of artificial intelligence and robotics technology in the medical field is opening up new treatment possibilities.
This new technology is writing a new story for a new India. He praised the role of doctors, saying that when an emergency occurs at home and a patient is transported to the hospital in a timely manner, critical care doctors play a crucial role in alleviating the family’s fears. He added that the need of the hour is to establish critical care units in every district and major hospital. The central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, are continuously working in this direction. Free treatment up to ₹5 lakh through the Ayushman Yojana is a major relief for the common people.
Doctors from India, abroad, and the state who have provided outstanding services in the health sector were also honored on stage.
Dr. Sandeep Dave, Director of Ramakrishna Care Hospital, Varun Khanna, CEO of Care Group, and over 1,300 doctors from across the state and the country, both internationally and internationally, were present on the occasion.
