Evidence of black magic found in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital campus.

Evidence of ‘black magic’ has been found in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The current trustees claimed that eight urns containing human bones, skulls, hair, rice and other items related to tantric practices have been found under the floor of the office.

The trustees of Mumbai’s famous Lilavati Hospital have claimed that they have found evidence of black magic rituals being performed in the hospital campus. According to them, eight urns have been found under the floor of the current trustees’ office, which contain human bones, skulls, hair, rice and other items related to tantric practices.

These things were discovered based on information received from a former employee and a video was also made during the excavation. This happened when the hospital trust filed a case of embezzlement of more than Rs 1,250 crore against its former trustees, who allegedly misappropriated the money through fake orders and records. However, the former trustee rejected the allegations as baseless and malicious.

Three FIRs were registered against Lilavati Hospital founder Kishore Mehta’s brother Vijay, his relatives and associates for alleged financial irregularities. Apart from this, complaints of tax evasion and tax evasion were also filed against the former trustees.

The current trustees complained to the Enforcement Directorate to investigate the scam. The former trustees have reportedly moved to UAE and Belgium

Evidence found in the report

At the same time, another complaint was filed under the Maharashtra Anti-Black Magic Act when hospital employees reported evidence of alleged black magic practiced by the former trustees to harm Prashant Mehta and his mother Charu Mehta.

However, Vijay Mehta’s son Chetan Mehta has denied the allegations of black magic. He said, ‘The allegations of black magic are not even worth answering and are just to create sensation.’

According to officials, Kishore Mehta went abroad for treatment in 2002. During this time his brother Vijay Mehta took temporary charge of the trust. Vijay Mehta allegedly forged documents and signatures to appoint his sons and nephews as trustees, while removing Kishore Mehta from the post of permanent trustee. And after a long legal battle, Kishore Mehta got his position back in the year 2016.

Irregularities revealed in forensic audit

After the death of Kishore Mehta in 2024, his son Prashant Mehta became the permanent trustee. Prashant conducted a forensic audit of the accounts, which revealed several major financial irregularities, including embezzlement through fake orders and records. Large-scale fraud was detected after a recent forensic audit of the hospital’s financial records.
