BJP leader Amit Malviya on Wednesday shared a video on his official ‘X’ handle in which former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar is questioning the education of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The caption below the video reads – Mani Shankar Aiyar exposed Rajiv Gandhi.

BJP leader Amit Malviya on Wednesday shared a video on his ‘X’ handle, in which former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar has raised questions about the education of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. In this video, Mani Shankar Aiyar has said that Rajiv Gandhi also faced failure in Cambridge University, whereas passing there is considered easy. After this, he went to Imperial College, London, but he could not succeed there either. Mani Shankar Aiyar also questioned how a person with such a weak educational record was made the Prime Minister.

However, Rajiv Gandhi’s educational difficulties did not prevent him from entering politics. He became the Prime Minister of India after the assassination of his mother Indira Gandhi in 1984. On this matter, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, ‘(Amit) Malviya has a habit of editing things. How much is right and how much is wrong in this, only Mani Shankar can tell. But the question is not whether Rajiv Gandhi passed or failed. How was Rajiv Gandhi as a Prime Minister? What kind of work did Rajiv Gandhi do after becoming the Prime Minister? If you want to analyze Rajiv Gandhi, then you have to analyze his work … BJP people are not even ready to show the PM’s degree. The PM himself says that he used to sell tea and is a matriculation pass, but we do not see him because of his education. We see him because of his work as a PM. Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri never went to Cambridge, but he was a capable Prime Minister. That’s why Rajiv Gandhi was a capable Prime Minister. He has given a lot to the country.

Mani Shankar Aiyar had also given a controversial statement on the India-China war
Earlier, Mani Shankar Aiyar had also given a controversial statement regarding the 1962 India-China war. He called it an ‘alleged invasion from China’, to which many people objected. Mani Shankar Aiyar made this statement during the release of Kallol Bhattacharjee’s book ‘Nehru’s First Recruit: Diplomats Who Made Independent India’s Foreign Policy’.
