UP: Yogi’s big announcement for sanitation workers, bonus of 10 thousand… minimum salary of 16000 per month and free treatment announced

CM Yogi Announcement: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement for sanitation workers. He said that earlier they used to get 8 to 11 thousand rupees per month. Now it will be increased to at least 16 thousand from April.

Mahakumbh Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Prayagraj after the conclusion of Mahakumbh, has made a big announcement. The sanitation workers of UP engaged in Mahakumbh will get an additional bonus of 10 thousand. Apart from this, a minimum salary of 16000 per month has been announced.

Apart from this, all the workers working in Mahakumbh will get the benefit of free treatment up to five lakhs. A corporation will be formed in April. Money will also be sent to the accounts of the employees from April.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that sanitation workers used to get eight to 11 thousand rupees per month earlier. Now it will be increased to at least 16 thousand from April. Along with this, all the employees will also be given the benefit of Jan Arogya Bima by linking them with Ayushman Yojana.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Our government has decided to give a bonus of Rs 10,000 to sanitation and health workers at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. We are going to ensure that sanitation workers will be provided a minimum wage of Rs 16,000 from April… Temporary health workers will be given direct bank transfers and all of them will be linked to the Ayushman Bharat scheme for health coverage, which will ensure better welfare and support.”


The Uttar Pradesh government created a Guinness World Record for the largest coordinated cleanliness drive during Maha Kumbh 2025. UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak received the award today.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar, along with state cabinet ministers and officials had lunch with sanitation workers.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath while interacting with boatmen in Prayagraj after the conclusion of Maha Kumbh said, “After registration, every boatman will be given an insurance scheme of Rs 5 lakh. Money will be given to buy a boat. Those who do not have health insurance will be covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.”
