A huge crowd of devotees is gathering to take a dip in the Maha Kumbh. The number of bathers has crossed 60 crores. More than 50 percent of the world’s Sanatanis have taken a dip in the Maha Kumbh.

Faith was seen surging at Sangam on Saturday as well. Crowds of devotees were seen on every road. The wave of faith can be estimated from the fact that more than 71 lakh people had taken bath in Sangam by 12 noon. By 8 pm, 1.43 crore devotees had taken a dip. There have been 23 days in the fair so far when more than one crore devotees took a dip in Sangam.

Only four days are left for the conclusion of Maha Kumbh. Apart from this, there is a weekly holiday. In such a situation, more crowd was expected on Saturday and its glimpse was also seen on Friday evening. The arrival of devotees started from Friday night itself.

On Saturday morning, people were seen on every major road. According to the data received from the Mela administration, 71.18 lakh people had taken bath till 12 noon on Saturday. Whereas, till Friday, a total of 59.31 crore people had taken bath. In this way, the number of bathers on Saturday also crossed 60 crore.

More than one crore devotees took bath on 23 days in 41 days
Mahakumbh started on 13th January with Paush Purnima bath. Thus, 41 days have passed till Saturday. The special thing is that as the date progressed, the enthusiasm of devotees for taking a dip in Sangam also increased.

It is also worth mentioning that between 26 January and 22 February, i.e., on 21 out of 28 days, more than one crore people took bath. Looking at the crowd, this trend is expected to continue for the next four days as well.

More than one crore people took bath for the eighth consecutive day
Saturday was the eighth consecutive day when more than one crore people took bath in Sangam. This series started last Saturday and is still continuing. Earlier, it was only from 26 January to 3 February when more than one crore people took bath every day for eight consecutive days. Whereas, Mauni Amavasya and Vasant Panchami Amrit Snan festival also fell during this period.

The arrival of devotees in large numbers is continuing. In such a situation, more than one crore people are expected to take bath every day on the next day as well. If this happens, then the number of bathers will be more than one crore every day for 12 consecutive days.

More than 50 percent of the world’s Sanatanis took a holy dip
The number of bathers in the Maha Kumbh has crossed 60 crores on Saturday. With this, more than 50 percent of the world’s Sanatanis have also taken a holy dip in the Sangam. According to the World Population Review Pew Research report, there are 110 crore Sanatanis in India.

The population of followers of Sanatan Dharma in the whole world is about 120 crores. In this way, more than 50 percent of the Sanatanis of the whole world have taken a dip in the Sangam. In India, more than 55 percent of the followers of Sanatan Dharma have taken a dip in the Sangam.

Diplomats from 73 countries and guests from many countries including Bhutan King Namgyal Wangchuk arrived here to take Amrit Snan. Not only this, more than 50 lakh people from Nepal, the motherland of Maa Janaki, have witnessed bathing in the holy water of Triveni so far.
