The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a spectacular comeback in Delhi after more than 27 years. The BJP has won a landslide victory, winning 40 seats and is leading on 8 seats. Now the question is arising as to who will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi?

Ne Delhi: If sources are to be believed, the Chief Minister is likely to be elected from among the MLAs. The first name in the CM race is Pravesh Verma. He has defeated Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi seat.

Pravesh Verma: Pravesh Verma also has political experience and has been an MP twice before. Despite being from outer Delhi, Pravesh Verma showed his strength in New Delhi. He is the son of former CM Sahib Singh Verma.

Verma is not only among the prominent young faces of Delhi, but making a Jat CM will send a message to the Jat voters of rural Delhi, western UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. After voting and victory, he met Amit Shah

Vijendra Gupta: BJP’s Vaishya face Vijendra Gupta has been the president of Delhi BJP. Despite the AAP wave, he won the last two assembly elections. In 2015, when there were only 3 MLAs in the Delhi Assembly, one of them was Vijendra Gupta. After this, he also retained his seat in the 2020 assembly elections. He has been the Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly twice. While playing the role of Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, he also understands the problems of Delhi better.

Ashish Sood: Ashish Sood is the Punjabi face of BJP. Sood, who was elected MLA from Janakpuri, has also been a councillor. Apart from this, he was the general secretary of Delhi BJP and is currently in charge of Goa and co-in charge of Jammu and Kashmir. He has close relations with central leaders. He has also been the president of DU.

Satish Upadhyay: Satish Upadhyay is the Brahmin face of BJP. He has been the state president of BJP. Apart from this, he has been the President of Delhi Yuva Morcha, Vice President of NDMC. Along with administrative experience, he has also handled many responsibilities in the organization. Upadhyay has been the co-incharge of Madhya Pradesh and he also has a strong hold in the Sangh.

Jitendra Mahajan: Jitendra Mahajan, who won the election from Rohtas Nagar for the third consecutive time, is close to the RSS and comes from the Vaishya community. This time too, he defeated Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sarita Singh by a huge margin. He can prove to be a dark horse.
