He said Korsewada had been elected twice from the Ahiwara Assembly constituency and remained deeply concerned about the development of his area and the resolution of people’s problems.
“His untimely passing is an irreparable loss to the whole of Chhattisgarh. He was a mature, thoughtful, approachable and soft-spoken public representative who remained committed to his constituency and its people,” the Chief Minister said.

Sai recalls conversations during treatment
Speaking emotionally, the Chief Minister said he had remained in contact during Korsewada’s treatment and had hoped that he would recover and return from Hyderabad.
Sai recalled that Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal had visited Korsewada in Hyderabad a day before his death and discussed his condition and treatment with the doctors.
The Chief Minister said he, too, had spoken with the medical team, which was making every effort to help the legislator recover.
“Nothing in our conversations suggested that he would not return from Hyderabad after recovering. He himself had expressed hope of getting well and coming back, but destiny had other plans,” Sai said.
He described the loss as deeply painful for Korsewada’s constituents, the state and him personally.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to endure their grief.
