Guinness World Record Attempt Through Yoga on June 14; Jashpur to Participate in Historic Initiative

Main International Yoga Day Event at Ranjita Stadium on June 21

Raipur: In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the theme for International Yoga Day 2026 has been set as “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” Various programs are being organised across the country to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, with Jashpur district also actively participating.

Attempt to Set a Guinness World Record via Online Yoga Session

According to information received from the AYUSH Department, an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the highest number of participants will be made through an online yoga session scheduled for June 14, 2026, from 6:15 AM to 7:35 AM. Extensive publicity and registration campaigns are underway to encourage maximum participation in this special initiative. Interested participants can register by giving a missed call to the toll-free number 1800-315-7008 and become part of this historic endeavor.

Main Event at Ranjita Stadium on June 21

The district-level main yoga event for International Yoga Day will be held at Ranjita Stadium in Jashpur on June 21, 2026. Participation from public representatives, officials, employees, students, social organisations, and the general public will be ensured for this event.

Registration Available on ‘Yoga Sangam’ Portal

The Ministry of AYUSH has launched the ‘Yoga Sangam Portal-2026’ for the registration and documentation of programs related to International Yoga Day.

Various government departments, educational institutions, local bodies, and social organizations can register their yoga programs and upload details and photographs to the portal after the events conclude.

The AYUSH Department has appealed to officials and employees across all departments, public representatives, and citizens to participate in large numbers in yoga programs, thereby contributing to the national effort to set a Guinness World Record and playing an active role in taking International Yoga Day to the masses.
