Raipur: A delegation from Japan on Saturday April 25, 2026 paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in the state capital, Raipur.
Extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Chief Minister Sai held detailed discussions regarding the various facets of investment opportunities, industrial development, and technical cooperation in Chhattisgarh.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sai referred to his visit to Japan and stated that, owing to the state government’s industry-oriented and investment-friendly policies, Chhattisgarh is emerging as an attractive destination for global investors.
He noted that Japan is a technologically advanced nation, and leveraging its advanced expertise could play a pivotal role in the industrial development of Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that such investments and collaborations would generate new employment opportunities for the youth of the state and provide fresh momentum to its industrial growth.
Appreciating the Chhattisgarh government’s new industrial policy, the Japanese delegation remarked that a favorable and transparent environment for investment has been established in the state, thereby creating enhanced prospects for industrial expansion. The delegation also expressed its intent to further increase its investments within the state.
Present on this occasion were MLA Anuj Sharma, Secretary to the Chief Minister P. Dayanand, FSNL Director Yukihiro Momose, Konoike Transport Executive Officer Toshihiro Fujiwara, FSNL Managing Director Sunil Kumar Dixit, and former CMD of Hindustan Copper Limited, K.D. Diwan.
