Rajat Bansal Appointed Special Secretary in CM Secretariat; Given Additional Charge of Commissioner of Public Relations

Raipur: In an administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has assigned Rajat Bansal a posting in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat along with the charge of Commissioner of Public Relations, while Ravi Mittal has been relieved of his duties to take up the post of Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, both decisions have been implemented with immediate effect.

Rajat Bansal, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been temporarily posted as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat until further orders. In addition to his current responsibilities, he will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner of Public Relations, CEO of ‘Samvad’, Director of Geology and Mining, and Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation.
