Chief Minister Shri Sai meets and encourages jawans in Narayanpur

Chef Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Had dinner with the soldiers

Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, during his visit to Narayanpur on Friday January 30, 2026 with jawans and officers of ITBP, CRPF, Cobra Battalion, BSF, DRG, and CAF at the ITBP Battalion complex in Narayanpur.

He appreciated their contribution to establishing peace and security in Bastar and boosted the morale of the security forces personnel. Chief Minister Sai and the ministers had dinner with the jawans at the battalion complex and had a cordial discussion with them.

While interacting with the jawans, Chief Minister Sai said that many areas of Bastar, rich in natural resources and cultural heritage, were isolated from the mainstream of development due to Maoist terrorism. It is because of your indomitable courage, bravery, and valor that an atmosphere of peace and security has been created here, and development work has gained momentum, Sai added.

He praised the contribution of the security forces personnel in the security of the country and said that maintaining the morale of the jawans serving in difficult circumstances is everyone’s priority. The Chief Minister assured the jawans that the state government is continuously working for their welfare and facilities. The jawans also shared their experiences with the Chief Minister and described this cordial meeting as inspiring.

Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that the security forces personnel are working with complete determination to realise the resolve of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah here. He said that instead of the sound of bombs and bullets, now the hustle and bustle of common people, the sound of children learning the alphabet in schools, and the rhythm of the traditional drum (mandar) in the villages can be heard.

The guests presented gifts to the jawans at the event. Senior officers of the security forces presented mementos to the Chief Minister and the ministers.

It is noteworthy that security camps have been established and contingents of central and state security forces have been deployed to control Naxalite activities. On this occasion, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, Chairman of Minor Forest Produce Roopsai Salam, along with other distinguished public representatives from the region, Chief Minister’s Secretary Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Commissioner Doman Singh, IG Sundarraj P., senior officers of ITBP, CRPF, and BSF, Collector Namrata Jain, Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria, and other officers and personnel of the central security forces were present.

IG Sundarraj P. appreciated the program’s outline and the contribution of the security personnel towards peace in the Bastar division. The police band presented cultural performances as part of the welcome ceremony.
