Raipur Literature Festival’s Open Mic Provides a Powerful Platform for New Talent: Over 75 Participants in Four Sessions on the Day- 1

The Open Mic stage was dedicated to the renowned poet of the state, Padma Shri late Surendra Dubey.

Raipur: As part of the Raipur Literature Festival, four sessions were held on the first day at the Open Mic stage, dedicated to the renowned poet of the state, Padma Shri late Surendra Dubey. Over 75 participants presented their creative works. Participants showcased their talents in various disciplines, including poetry, storytelling, singing, instrumental music, group dance, and classical dance.

Participants from Chhattisgarh and neighboring states enthusiastically participated in the Open Mic sessions. This special platform was designed to provide opportunities for artists from diverse fields, where performances of flute, guitar, and violin created a musical atmosphere. Young dancers captivated the audience with their enchanting performances, while young poets and ghazal writers from Surguja to Bastar mesmerized the listeners with their powerful compositions.

At the conclusion of the program, certificates were distributed to the participants by the Chairman of the State Minority Commission Amarjeet Singh Chhabra, the Principal of Mahant College, Devashish Mahant, and the Joint Director of Public Relations, Ismat Jahan Dani.

The Open Mic session not only provided a platform for emerging talents but also effectively highlighted the enthusiasm and creative energy of the youth towards literature, art, and culture.
