Chief Minister Sai’s newly appointed advisor, R. Krishna Das, has been given the status of a cabinet minister.

Raipur: The state government has granted Cabinet Minister status to R. Krishna Das, the newly appointed advisor to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. It is noteworthy that the state government had appointed senior journalist R. Krishna Das as the Chief Minister’s advisor.
According to an order issued today by the Chhattisgarh General Administration Department, Mahanadi Bhavan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, R. Krishna Das has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s advisor. In this capacity, he will advise the Chief Minister on media-related matters and other important issues. He will also be provided with all the facilities equivalent to those of a Special Secretary of the state government.
Focus on Coordination Between Media and Government
This appointment of R. Krishna Das is considered a significant step towards establishing better coordination between the media and the administration. As an advisor, he will counsel the Chief Minister on media management, communication strategy, and other important matters. His experience will help in effectively communicating the government’s policies and schemes to the public.

R. Krishna Das has served for a long time as the Chhattisgarh bureau chief of the prestigious national newspaper ‘Business Standard’. He has nearly three decades of experience in the field of journalism. He has done in-depth reporting on the state’s economic, political, and social issues and is known for his unbiased journalism.
Strengthening Government-Media Dialogue
Given his credibility in the media world and his understanding of administration, the state government has entrusted him with this important responsibility.
