Raipur: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan honored 37 personalities and four institutions from various fields with 34 awards at the State Awards Ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Festival in Nava Raipur on Wednesday November 5, 2025 . Governor Ramen Deka presided over the function. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was the Chief Guest, and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Ministers, MPs, and MLAs were present as special guests.

At the State Awards Ceremony, Vice President Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Sai presented the Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Award to Hiresh Sinha of Kanker district. Yeti Yatanlal Award was given to Indian Leprosy Prevention Association, Katre Nagar Sothi, District Janjgir-Champa, Gundadhur Award was given to Gyaneshwari Yadav, Rajnandgaon, Minimata Award was given to Laleshwari Sahu, Durg, Guru Ghasidas Award was given jointly to Bhuvandas Jangde, Bemetara and Shashi Gaikwad, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Thakur Pyarelal Singh Award was given to Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society, Doma, District Dhamtari, Habib Tanveer Award was given to Dr. Kunj Bihari Sharma, District Raipur, Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdev Award was given to Chandni Sahu, District Bilaspur.

Similarly, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Award was given to Rajesh Agrawal, District Raipur, Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Award to Dr. Chintaranjan Kar, District Raipur, Chakradhar Award to Pandit Kirti Madhav Lal Vyas, District Durg, Dau Mandaraji Award to Rikhi Kshatriya, District Durg, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Krishak Ratna Award was jointly given to Thanendra Kumar Sahu, District Dhamtari and Vaman Kumar Tikriha, District Balodabazar, Maharaja Agrasen Award to Rajendra Agrawal Raju, District Bilaspur, Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Journalism Award for Print Media Hindi, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Tiwari, Raipur and Electronic Media Hindi Award was jointly given to Dr. Somesh Kumar Patel and Abhishek Shukla, Raipur, Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award for Print Media English, Bhavana Pandey, District Durg, Danveer Bhamashah Award to Neeraj Kumar Bajpai, District Rajnandgaon, Dhanvantari Award to Ajay Krishna Kulshrestha, Bilasadevi Kewat Fisheries Development Award to Sukhdev Das, District Raipur.

Likewise , Dr. Bhanwar Singh Porte Tribal Service Award was given to Jango Raitar Vidya Ketul Educational Institution, Village Damaksa, District Kanker, Ramanuj Pratap Singhdev Memorial Labor Success Award was given jointly to Mithilesh Kumar Adil and Agrawal Team, District Durg and NTPC Ltd. Lara Super Thermal Power Project, Pusaur, District Raigarh, Pandit Lakhanlal Mishra Award was given to Yogesh Kumar Sahu, District Kanker, Chhattisgarh Non-Resident Indian Award was given to Manish Tiwari, District Raipur, Devdas Banjare Memorial Panthi Dance Award was given to Rohit Kumar Kosaria, District Mahasamund, Kishore Sahu Award was given to Sunil Soni, District Raipur, Laxman Masturia Award was given to Rakesh Tiwari, District Raipur, Lala Jagdalpuri Literature Award was given to Dr. Vinod Kumar Verma, District Bilaspur, Kishore Sahu National Decoration was given to Anurag Basu, Mumbai.

Barrister Thakur Chhedilal Award was jointly given to Khemchand Jain of Rajnandgaon, Dr. Suresh Mani Tripathi, Dr. Bhupendra Karvande and Bharatlal Soni of Raipur, Veerangan Avantibai Lodhi Memorial Award was given to Premshila Baghel of Mahasamund, Mata Bahadur Kalarin Award was given to Shilpa Pandey Srishti of Surguja district, Pandit Madhav Rao Sapre National Creativity Award was given to Awadhesh Kumar of New Delhi and Sanskrit Language Award was given to Dr. Dadu Bhai Tripathi of Raipur district.
