Pragati College , Choubey Colony , Raipur organises an awareness seminar on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

NEP- 2020 is India’s National Education Policy, a comprehensive overhauling the national education system aimed to transforming it into a vibrant knowledge society.
Raipur : Pragati College , Choubey Colony, Raipur organised an awareness seminar on NEP -2020 on Monday August 25, 2025 .
The new education policy recognizes the importance of continuous professional development for teachers as wel as students-Video- Credit -Pragati College
The aim of this seminar was to highlight the importance of this policy in the field of education and its far-reaching effects. On this occasion, Mannu Rawani (NEP Coordinator) and Head of the Department of Computer Science said that “National Education Policy 2020 is not just a policy but a vision of the bright future of Indian education.
It provides students with opportunities to learn, innovate and make meaningful contributions to society, Rawani added.
He shared detailed information on the key points of the policy, implementation policies and the benefits it provides to students, teachers and educational institutions.

NEP also promotes collaborative learning communities, encouraging teachers to engage students in peer learning, share best practices, and collaborate with colleagues. This creates a supportive environment for professional growth and enhances teaching effectiveness, which may turn to the all round development of the Students -Photo Credit -Pragati College .
In his address, Rawani said that NEP 2020 provides a multidisciplinary approach, skill-based education, proper use of technology and flexibility in the curriculum.
This policy paves the way to make education more holistic, inclusive and globally competitive, Manu Rawani said .
Students, professors and academic scholars actively participated in the seminar and became part of thought-provoking discussions.
In particular, students asked many questions during and after the seminar, which were addressed in detail by Manu Rawani.
