Raipur: On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh’s state-of-the-art archery training center will be established in Pandrapath of Jashpur district, which will provide a strong platform to the sports talent of rural youth.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, concrete steps are being taken towards overall progress by combining sports, education and rural development with a coordinated approach. In this sequence, a multi-purpose complex equipped with state-of-the-art facilities is being established in Pandrapath (Tehsil Sanna, Vikaskhand Bagicha), a remote area of ​​Jashpur district, which will provide a strong platform to the talented youth of the state.

NTPC has given financial approval of Rs 20.53 crore for this ambitious project under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Archery training center, mini library, first aid unit, skill development center, shady nursery for organic farming will be constructed in the campus. A medicinal garden will also be developed in the campus, in which herbs and medicinal trees will be planted. About 10.27 acres (Approx. 41,565 sqm) of land has been selected for this project with the cooperation of the local administration.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that this initiative will give an opportunity to rural talents to improve themselves and they will be able to showcase their talent by reaching the national-international platforms.

The detailed site layout, 3-D design, structure of buildings and cost of each component for the project has been prepared by expert consultants.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed confidence that the innovative initiative will not only boost the sports sector but will also escort in a new wave of inclusive development in Jashpur district through education, health and skill development.
