Mumbai : Maharashtra: BJP-led ‘Mahayuti’ has won a bumper victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections . The NDA alliance has won 230 seats in the 288-seat assembly. After the bumper victory, the exercise to form the government in the Mahayuti has intensified. Information has been received from sources that the new government may be sworn in tomorrow in Maharashtra. It is being told that the Chief Minister and Deputy CM may take oath tomorrow. This ceremony will be held at the Raj Bhavan.
Here, the three parties (BJP, Shiv Sena Shinde faction and NCP Ajit faction) involved in the Mahayuti alliance are holding meetings one after the other to form the government and get more posts in the cabinet. After the victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections, BJP Maharashtra chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule chaired the meeting of the BJP’s membership campaign committee.
Meanwhile, NCP Ajit Pawar, the head of the Ajit faction, has called a meeting of his MLAs at his residence. All the winning NCP MLAs and office bearers have reached Ajit Pawar’s residence. Let us tell you that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar retained the Baramati seat by defeating NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) candidate Yugendra Pawar by more than one lakh votes.
Shinde faction’s MLAs will stay in Bandra hotel till oath taking
Meanwhile, all the MLAs of Eknath Shinde will stay in Bandra’s Taj Lands End. All the MLAs have been ordered to stay in the hotel till oath taking. The leader of the Shinde faction’s legislative party will be selected in the hotel itself.
Big decision in Shiv Sena’s executive meeting
In the Shiv Sena executive meeting, the party gave CM Eknath Shinde all the rights to take decisions towards forming the government. Shiv Sena’s executive meeting was held in the presence of CM Shinde. In this meeting, it was unanimously decided to give Eknath Shinde full rights to discuss with the allies.
