During the meeting, the Chief Minister alos encouraged the 50 young entrepreneurs of Dantewada: who are taking training at IIM

Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai while addressing the budding entrepreneurs of Dantewada at the IIM campus in Nava Raipur on Sunday June 8, 2025 said that minerals, forests and other natural resources are available in abundance in Chhattisgarh. As a result, there are immense possibilities of development in every field including agriculture as well as industries. The need is that we should use our existing capabilities properly and play our important role in the new construction of the state and the country.

It is worth mentioning that a batch of 50 youth from Dantewada district is receiving training in entrepreneurship at the country’s prestigious management institute IIM. Chief Minister Sai wished a bright future for all the youth receiving training and said that this training will prove to be extremely effective in building their career and improving their lives.

Chief Minister Sai said that when a young entrepreneur realises his dreams, he opens the door of inspiration and opportunity for many others . It is a matter of great joy that all of you are from Bastar region and are moving forward in the field of entrepreneurship. Today Bastar is being considered as the most promising region. In the training, you have learned important things related to entrepreneurship. Now implement them and start your enterprise. Every possible help will be provided by the government.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Chhattisgarh has a favorable environment for the development of industries along with the agricultural sector. Keeping same in mind, we are constantly encouraging innovation, research and entrepreneurship for the overall development of the state. In the sequence, to accelerate industrial development in Chhattisgarh, we have implemented the ‘New Industrial Policy 2024-30’. The basic mantra of the policy is: “Minimum Governance, Maximum Incentives.” Under which , ‘Single Window 2.0’ system has been implemented to simplify the process of setting up industries, through which all the necessary clearances are being provided easily. In the new industrial policy, the backward regions of the state, Bastar and Sarguja have been identified as the most investment incentive areas, so that their rapid development can be ensured.

During the discussion, Chief Minister also informed that under the new industrial policy, a provision of special grant has been made for setting up industries in Bastar. The roadmap for the development of Bastar has also been prepared last month, in which plans have been made for all major sectors including agriculture, forest produce based business and tourism. The connectivity of Bastar has now become excellent, so that the products of entrepreneurs can easily reach the markets across the country. Development is encouraged through a strong network of roads.

During the session with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai , the youth looked very excited and they also shared their experiences with the CM .

On this occasion, a total of 50 young entrepreneurs including Chandrakumar Sahu from Bade Bacheli, Abhishek Gupta from Kirandul-Bailadila, Anirudh Kumar from Bacheli, Tejasv Kumar and Neelam Pandey Bijaapur, Shilpa Kumari from Bacheli and Rakesh Yadav from Dantewada were present.
