Amit Shah: ‘NDA will form government in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal next year’, Home Minister Amit Shah roared in Madurai

Tamil Nadu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing BJP workers and leaders in Madurai, said that in 2026, the BJP-AIADMK alliance will be formed in Tamil Nadu and the people will remove the DMK from power. He accused the DMK of corruption and said that the people now want change.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in Madurai on Sunday that the people will defeat the DMK in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections next year. He said that the BJP and the AIADMK will form the NDA government together in the 2026 assembly elections. Shah also said that the NDA government will be formed in West Bengal.

He also said that this conference is a sign of removing the DMK government from power and the beginning of change. Amit Shah said that the people of Tamil Nadu now want change and BJP workers are fully prepared for it.

Amit Shah said, here in 2026, the NDA government of BJP-AIADMK alliance will be formed. M.K. Stalin says that Amit Shah cannot defeat DMK. He is right, not me, but the people of Tamil Nadu will defeat you. Shah also reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections and discussed the strategy with the state leaders.

Shah said on social media platform X, the people of Tamil Nadu are fed up with the corruption of the DMK government. BJP workers will reach every street, locality and house and convey the vision of Prime Minister Narendra, Modi-led NDA of a developed and prosperous Tamil Nadu to the people.

Shah said that the BJP government has given Rs 6.80 lakh crore to Tamil Nadu in the last 10 years. Still Chief Minister Stalin asks what the Center has done for the state. He challenged Chief Minister Stalin to tell whether he has fulfilled all the promises made by the DMK in the 2021 elections. Amit Shah alleged that at least two classrooms could have been built in every school in Tamil Nadu with the money equivalent to the liquor sale scam.

The Union Home Minister said, I once again appeal to the Tamil Nadu government to start medical and engineering studies in Tamil language soon. Prime Minister Modi has honored Tamil Nadu by establishing Sengol in Parliament, and I hope that Chief Minister Stalin will write a letter to thank him for this.

Home Minister Shah started the day with a visit to the famous Meenakshi temple, where he offered prayers and was welcomed in a traditional manner by the temple priests. Addressing BJP workers, Shah regretted not being able to speak in Tamil language. He said, I apologize to the party workers of Tamil Nadu because I cannot speak in Tamil, one of the greatest languages ​​of India.

During his visit to Tamil Nadu in April, Shah had announced a re-alliance with the AIADMK. In his address, BJP state president Nainar Nagendran targeted the DMK government over law and order. He questioned the role of the police in the targeted killing of elderly people in villages in the Western Kogu region. He appealed to the workers to work with full dedication.

Nageendran said that his goal would be to have as many MLAs as possible in the Assembly. He compared Amit Shah to India’s ‘Iron Man’ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and termed him as the ‘new Iron Man of India’. BJP leader K. Annamalai said that the party’s only goal is to remove the DMK from power in Tamil Nadu. He called upon the workers to move forward with this ‘resolve’.
