Chief Minister Sai said that 64 new forward security camps have been established by the government in the last one and a half years. The presence of police has not only created a sense of security in the local villagers , around these security posts, but the network has also reached these areas now. The government has so far commissioned a total of 671 mobile towers, out of which 4G service is available in 365 towers. This is not just a technological change, but it is also an indication that the communication revolution has now begun in the tribal areas of the State
The Chief Minister said that now not only mobile towers are being installed in Bastar, but these towers are evidence of the fact that the children and youth there are also now connecting to the digital world. Earlier, where children had to go to the city for studies or job preparation, now they are able to do the same work online in their village through mobile network. Now the youth of Bastar is also creating their own world with smartphones.
Chief Minister Sai said that basic facilities like electricity, water, health and education are now reaching the villages settled around the security camps. Under the Niyada Nellnar Yojana, 18 community services and 25 types of government schemes are being implemented simultaneously in 146 villages identified.
The Chief Minister informed that hundreds of Samadhan camps have been organised so far under Sushasan Tihar, where MPs and MLAs visited villages to resolve public grievances. In this work, modern technology like GIS mapping and a mobile app named ‘Jaldoot’ are being used, which shows how much water is needed where.
The most important thing is that women are playing a big role in this campaign. Women’s groups are coming forward to clean the ponds, increase their depth, and revive old water sources. This partnership is eliminating the water shortage in villages and people are getting clean and adequate water in their area.
